"Are you sure?" Camila questioned softly. "Don't feel like you have to leave."

"Really, Lauren, I'll go," Hailee repeated, still standing as she eyed the door.

"It's your room. I'm sure you want to unpack and stuff anyways," Lauren smiled at Hailee. "I'm sure," she added, turning her face back to Camila's.

"Can I walk you back to your room?" Camila asked hopefully as she reached down to find Lauren's hand, lacing their fingers together.

"Of course," Lauren smiled. "I'll see you later, Hailee," she waved before guiding Camila back out into the hallway.

"That was interesting," Camila said, pulling the door to her room closed behind them.

"What was?" Lauren asked as the two began to walk slowly down the hallway.

"You," Camila replied. "You were being very...cordial."

"Is there a reason I shouldn't be?" Lauren questioned playfully, pulling on Camila's hand as she flashed the girl a smile.

"No," Camila shrugged. "I just didn't think you liked Hailee."

"I like you," Lauren responded as they came to a stop outside her door. "And you like Hailee."

"I don't like her that much," Camila teased as she wrapped her arms around Lauren's waist. "What happened to 'it's later'," she pouted, running her fingers along the edge of the girl's shorts.

"It'll still be 'later' later," Lauren grinned, wrapping her arms around the back of Camila's neck. "I really do have a bunch of homework," she sighed. "You wouldn't want me falling behind on my studies, now would you?"

"At this point, I could care less about your studies," Camila said just before leaning in to capture the dark-haired girl's lips between her own.

"I am absolutely appalled to hear you say that," Lauren joked, giving Camila another quick peck before their mouths separated.

"I could help you," Camila offered as she ran her hands higher up Lauren's back.

"Right," Lauren laughed. "I think we both know if you go in there with me nothing will get done."

"Oh I'll get plenty done," Camila contended, her lips moving to kiss along Lauren's jaw.

After letting Camila's lips wander for a few moments, Lauren reached for Camila's face to gently push her away.

"Camz," she warned, smiling at Camila who was looking back with a darkened gaze.

"I think I like kissing you even more now that you're my girlfriend," Camila admitted before closing the distance between them and joining their mouths again.

"Say that again," Lauren mumbled, smiling against Camila's lips.

"My girlfriend," Camila repeated.

"Hm," Lauren hummed. "I think you're right. The kisses are definitely better."

"Are they better here?" Camila asked as she left another trail of kisses along Lauren's jaw before moving them to the girl's neck.

"Camila," Lauren scolded weakly. "We're in the hallway."

"We're alone," Camila replied quickly. "It's Saturday night; everyone's either home or out," she added before leaving another open-mouthed kiss at the base of Lauren's throat.
