Sivaangi released herself from his tight grip, as one of her hands clutched onto the blanket that covered her and the other hand reached to her phone...

On seeing the caller ID, Sivaangi looked at Ashwin and smiled sheepishly making him instantly realise who it could be...

"Avana Kola panna poren naanu..." Ashwin actioned with a slight whisper to which Sivaangi chuckled...

"Hello? Sollu da Vikramey...." Sivaangi asnwered the call as Ashwin pulled her back into his embrace...

"COVID... nammala? Oh...." Sivaangi's voice clearly expressed what she felt from the inside as her eyes moved to Ashwin who was looking at her...

"Seri da.... Na varen... nee phone ah vei..." Sivaangi groaned as she pouted at Ashwin who looked at her questioning...

"Covid duty Ashwiney...." Sivaangi pouted at Ashwin making him kiss her bare shoulders...

"Covid duty ah? Epdi en chellatha avanga Covid duty podalam?" Ashwin asked as he looked at her...

"Velayadadha Ashwiney.... Ennaku bayama irukku.... Naan ippo dhana join panirken.... Epdi avanga ipdi panlam?" Sivaangi genuinely expressed her fear and concern...

"Ma.... I know you... nee Evlo careful ah irupa? Epdi treat pannuva? Ellame Ennaku nalla theriyum.... bayam lam venam... You are an amazing doctor...." Ashwin pushed the bangs that fell on her face aside as he made her look at him...

"Aana.... Aana ennaku dhan idea ve illaye.... Eppadi irukum? Romba tough and risky nu kelvi Pattene...." Sivaangi said expressing her insecurity to him...

"Ma.... It's just another duty.... The only difference is you will be zipped up into PPE...." Ashwin comforted her as he hugged her close...

"Quarantine irukumeeeee Ashwiney.... Will I not be able to see you for a week?" Sivaangi pouted....

That was when Ashwin realised that since she was a newcomer in terms of covid duty.... It was a rule in their hospital to quarantine doctors like her in a designated place that the hospital controlled.... That too for a week....
Ashwin felt shattered and sad inside but on looking at her waiting for his answer, he plastered a smile on his face and pecked her nose...

"Just a week.... Oru week... avlo dhan.... You enjoy some alone time.... Pamper yourself... I'll call you... text you.... And I'll always be here thinking about you...." Ashwin said as he lifted her up.... Wrapped in the blanket...

"En thookuna?" Sivaangi asked as he carried her to the bath...

"Unnaku valikumla? Sorry if I hurt you yesterday...." Ashwin pouted as he placed a soft peck on her lips...

Sivaangi smiled as she wiggled herself off his grip on the doorstep....

"I can help you...." Ashwin whispered close to her ears giving her the chills and goosebumps....

Sivaangi felt herself turning red as she walked in to the bath and shut the door behind with a clear seen blush....

After a long shower, she walked out of the bath in her robe....
Her hair wet and she smelling like candy....
Ashwin, who was busy packing stuff for her to carry.... Looked at her direction when he heard the blow dryer....

Ashwin felt like he would really miss her.... The sudden feeling of her going away for a week made him want to not let go of her...
He placed their photo inside the luggage after which he closed it and walked to her...

He hugged her from behind and placed his head in the crook of the shoulder...To which sivaangi let out a smile....

"Enna manna? Missings ah?" Sivaangi asked as she held his hand which encircled her waist...
