Chapter 14

SOFIA RAMOS' POV

Today is Gabrielle' birthday, Vincenzo and I are now on our way to the Moretti's house so we could all celebrate her special day.

"I'm excited." I say not being able to sit still in the car.

I am always excited and happy for people's birthdays. it's a bad habit I have. Instead of having the double date dinner tonight, we are all going to Vincenzo's club tonight. The dinner was moved to tomorrow.

It's now a few hours and we're now giving Gabrielle her gifts. Vincenzo was going last, for obvious reasons. Isabelle and Antonio went first, they got her a customized gun that had her initials engraved. Amelia got her a ring set, Diego got her earrings and a dress, I gave her the necklace and earrings I got her yesterday, Valentino gave her three designer bags. Lorenzo had already given Gabrielle her gifts in private.

A/N: I don't know how rich people gift others. Pretend it's what ever you want. I did my best with Gabrielle's gifts.

After Gabrielle thanked all off us, Vincenzo informs her she has one more gift.

"More?" Gabrielle asks shocked.

I'd be surprised also, she did get a lot of gifts today.

"Go look outside." Vincenzo says.

Gabrielle gets up from her seat and heads towards the front door. We all follow behind her as she opens the door, the car Vincenzo brought her came into view.

"You got me a car, Vince?" Gabrielle squeals.

Vincenzo nods his head and tells his sister to go check out the car. Gabrielle jumps on him, embracing him in a tight hug as she repeats her thanks.

Vincenzo and I went back to his apartment to change for the club and we are now going to his club to meet the others. I've only went to a club thrice and they were for mafia business. A short drive later we arrived at Vincenzo's club, since it was almost 10pm, the line to enter the club was very long.

Once we got inside, Vincenzo leads me to the VIP area where Gabrielle, Lorenzo, Amelia, Diego, Sebastian, Mateo, Charlotte and Valentino were. Gabrielle, Amelia, Charlotte and I are now dancing while the guys are still sitting in the VIP area.

"Let's get drinks." Amelia shouts over the music.

I wasn't drinking tonight so I just got sprite and water while the girls were trying to get wasted.

"Come on, Sofia, let's go dance." Gabrielle slurs after they were finished with their shots.

"I'll come in a minute, I need to use the bathroom." I tell her.

Once I was done using the bathroom, I wash my hand and was about to make my way back to the club when I felt a wet cloth cover my mouth. My first instinct was to hold my breath long enough for me to get one of my weapons.

After a struggle, I was able to get one of my knives, I stabbed my attacker and was able to break out of their hold. Not wasting a second I ran back to the club in search of Vincenzo, I ran over to the VIP are where he was.

Vincenzo spotted me and immediately stood up, noticing my distress and made his way over to me. My brothers, Diego, Valentino and Lorenzo were right behind him.

"What's wrong, Sofia." Vincenzo asks worriedly as he cups my face.

"Someone tried to kidnap me." I explain as I try to keep myself calm.

"What." He grits out.

"I stabbed them." I say.

"Where?" He asks.

"Outside the bathrooms." I answer.

Vincenzo looks back at the guys for a second before looking back at me and saying, "Valentino will take you, Gabrielle and your friends to my parents house."

"Okay." I say not bothering to argue.

"Are you okay?" Vincenzo asks and I nod my head in response.

My brothers kiss my forehead before they storm out, along with Vincenzo and Lorenzo. Diego walks up to me with a worried expression, asking me if I was okay. I assure him that I was.

After finding the girls and explaining the whole situation to them, we followed Vincenzo's orders and went to his parent's house.

VINCENZO MORETTI'S POV

Those fucking Russians tried to kidnap my girl, they had some audacity to think she couldn't handle herself. Mateo was trying to torture answers out of the dumb fuck who attempted to kidnap Sofia but failed miserably.

We found him limping out the back of the club with Sofia's knives still in his stomach.

"He isn't going to talk." Mateo says dropping his gun on the table beside me.

"He'll talk," I say chuckling.

The first thing they were supposed to do was threaten his manhood but watching him scream in pain for an hour was quite amusing.

"How?" Sebastian asks confused.

"Threaten to cut off his dick." Lorenzo says, reading my mind.

That's why he's my second in command, we think alike.

Ten minutes later the idiot gave us all the information we needed. Igor was in Spain and he sent a few of his men to Italy to kidnap Sofia and carry her to Spain. Igor is the leader of the Russian Bratva, he's a greedy bastard who lets money and power get the best of him.

We now have to cut  our trip to Italy short and do to Spain to finally end the war that Igor created out of greed.

"Capo." Leo, one of my men says.

"What?" I grit out.

"There was an explosion at your parents house five minutes ago." He says and the blood from my face drained.
