Chapter 5

POV: Sophia

After a late night with Alpha Troy I ended up going to bed a lot later than I intended. I spent the most night talking to Athena my wolf. She had a lot to say she told me that she thought he could have been a great mate that we should have given him another chance. Eventually I fell asleep thinking of my ex-mate.

I woke up the next morning ready to go to school. I got dressed in a black crop top with high waist denim jeans and a pair of hight top black All Star shoes. I was heading out the door when Tanner caught my attention and said hey do you need a ride to school. I replied and said "sure I don't mind I'd rather not walk."

It's Tuesday morning and my first class is different I have geometry this morning. I went to my locker got my required books for geometry and headed to class. As I walked in I noticed someone new someone I didn't expect to see again. In the second row I saw Alpha Greyson. He looked to be lost and thought until he stuck his face up in the air and sniffed. He started looking around until he caught my face his eyes then darkened and said something I never thought I'd hear him say. "Mine." I heard people around me gasp. I looked at him in shock but my wolf didn't say anything back it was like she was dormant it was until I called out her name.

Athena? Yeah she said.

I looked at alpha Greyson and said is he your mate? At first she didn't say anything but then replied and said yes. Oh my gosh he is our second chance mate. She was beaming with joy but I was worried what were the odds of meeting my first mate and then meeting my second chance mate on my second day as a white wolf.

Alpha Greyson got up and walked straight to me and wrapped me up in a tight hug. I felt tingles erupt all over my skin where he touched me. I wrapped him up just as tightly and said mine. When we pulled apart I looked around and noticed everyone was staring at us with shocked expressions. Mr Stover then walked into the classroom and said please the students take your seats class is about to begin. Greyson looked at me sadly and said let's take our seats.

The whole time during class Alpha Greyson kept glancing at me. His knee wouldn't stop bouncing up and down. I put my hand on his knee and it stopped almost instantly. He looked at me with a darkened expression. And said if you do not wish me to take you here on this desk remove your hand. I blushed and looked away removing my hand from his knee.

For the rest of the class I paid attention while Alpha Greyson just stared at me. We went over basic stuff homework and assignments in the near future and projects we will be doing.

As soon as class was dismissed alpha Greyson pulled me up and out of the classroom down the hall and out of school.

Alpha Greyson please stop for a moment. He looked at me and said call me Greyson. I nodded and said ok Alph.. I mean Greyson where are we going. He looked at me and said to my pack house I looked at him with wide eyes and said I can't I still have school. He stopped and said it's ok you will be excused for the day I will have everything fixed for you.

That was all it took for me to give in and say ok. He pulled me to his car and told me to get in. He had one of those flashy sports cars. A Mazda MX-5 Miata it was white with leather interior. Athena then spoke up and said. Hmmm I wondered if he'd take us in this car? My cheeks flamed up and I was sure I was as red as a tomato. Greyson got in and immediately sniffed the air and said stop or I will take you in this damn car. I looked at him with wide eyes and said sorry.

After that he started the car and we started our drive to his pack house. When we got there be opened the door for me and led me into his pack house and led me to the kitchen. "Are you sure it's okay that I'm here? I mean we are from two different packs I really shouldn't be here. I really should get back to school." He looked at me and said"it's fine just sit down and I will make you something to eat how does that sound? Sound okay?" "Sure" I said. With that he began to pull stop by the refrigerator to make us something to eat.

It was then a woman with brown curly beach wave hair and green eyes stared back at me she looked just like Greyson just a little older. Oh this must be Greyson's mom.

"Hi it's nice to meet you Luna I am Sophia young. You must be Greyson's mom. She beamed at me and said it nice to meet you Sophia but please call me Grace. Are you new to our pack? I don't recognize you and you don't have our packs scent on you that's unusual. She looked at me and said wait what did you say your name again? I looked at her and looked back at Greyson and looked back at her. "My name is Sophia Young." Then she asked me a question that made me freeze. 'Wait then why are you on our land? I can tell you're not from our pack you have a different scent on you which means you're not from this pack. And judging by the power radiating off of you I can tell you're a very powerful wolf. So tell me Sophia what pack are you from?" She asked me. I looked at her and said "I am from the Moon guider's pack" I looked at her and her mouth was wide open she looked shocked she look like she was putting the pieces together and she said "oh my gosh you're Alpha Michael's daughter aren't you." I looked down and I nodded my head yes to confirm that I was his daughter.

I was shocked when she pulled me into an embrace and said "why are you looking down there's nothing for you to be frightened of here. But I would like to know what are you doing on our land?" She smiled warmly at me to encourage me to answer her until her son spoke up.

"Mom back up you're scaring her." He said. "And anyway she's my mate." Grace looked at her son in shock. She looked at him and said are you sure? But how's that possible? Greyson look like he was having trouble thinking he looked up and had a sad expression on his face and said "I don't know Mom but I'm glad I got another" chance his voice got hoarse like he was having trouble saying it out loud. But what did he mean another chance? Another chance at what.

Well.... What did you think? Greyson also seems to be also carrying a lot of secrets. Now that he has found his mate do you think he'll share what these secrets are?
