Chapter 7. Well Then! This should be good!
(Ella's POV)
A month ago my brother and Ashlyn eloped because my father didn't like the fact she was pregnant and unmarried. After the baby's born they plan to have a wedding planned by Alice, mom, and I, the huge party planners. She's due any day now since the baby is rapidly growing. The kept the baby's gender a surprise. I don't know why but its beyond me. I would wanna know ASAP, but that's just me.
I'm glad I finally shed my feelings to Seth and he told me it was about time to move on. I don't know what I'd do without him. We have been trying and trying and trying to get pregnant again but nothing has happened so far.
"Well, somebody is in a good mood today!" My mother cheered as I walked into the kitchen. I nodded my head and smiled. "Well I'm glad I have my little girl back. I missed seeing that beautiful smile of yours. I'm making lunch since your a sleepy head and sleep all damn day. Should you like some?" I shook my head no and I heard a loud yawn walking into the room.
"Morning princess, how are you feeling? Any babies yet?" My dad asked as he kissed the top of my head. I shook my head no and giggled. He's been so impatient since I've had my mood back. He really wants another grandkid so he can enjoy 2 at a time. He had double the fun with my brother and I as babies so it makes since.
I went to the living room to find Ashlyn and the huge stomach of hers laying on the couch. "Hey sis! How are you feeling?"
I'm ok, I think I'm having contractions but its hard to tell with the a stomach ache. Mom made a huge breakfast for me and I ate everything in sight. " she said rubbing her large stomach.
"Did you tell mom and dad? I think it's best you do, Will is on patrol, if you are it's best to get him now cause then someone else can cover for him." She shook her head no and started to sit up. I walked over and helped her up. The second she stood up her water broke. "MOM!" We both screamed at once. She smiled with excitement then screeched in pain. Mom and dad came running into the living room. "It's time." I told them. Dad booked it out the door and mom went to get a towel and them grabbed the bags for the hospital. I helped Ashlyn in the car and sat in the back seat with her, holding her hand. Will came running out of the trees along with dad. Will came in the back seat with us and dad sat upfront.
We got to the hospital fast. Grandpa Carlisle took her right in. Will was the only one aloud in so everyone waited out in the waiting room.
"Soon we will be waiting for your baby." Grandma Esme said. I smiled and walked around the room anxiously. I wanted to see the little one so bad. I couldn't help it. I wanted to hold a baby.
William came out of the room with a smile on his face. "It's a girl!" He shouted. Everyone cheered with excitement. "6 pounds 11 ounces. She's beautiful." He showed us a picture on his phone and we all awed. "Her name is Amelia Penelope Black."
"When can we see her?" Mom asked.
"When Ashlyn's cleaned up and Amelia has her tests done." We all jumped for joy and couldn't be happier.
10 minutes later we were able to go in the room to see Ashlyn. They didn't have the baby in the room just yet cause they weren't done testing.
"Congrats "we all said walking in. She smiled and kissed Will. The nurse came in with little Amelia. She was so beautiful. I couldn't help but stare at the cute little baby. I was sad Seth wasn't here to see how precious she was but he was on patrol. I was the first one to hold her and I was so happy. Her little button nose, her little hands and little toes where just the cutest. I couldn't handle how adorable she was. I couldn't wait to be pregnant again and have one of my own. It made me want to go home and try. But I was here and Seth was so called working.
We passed the baby around the room and then let Will and Ashlyn spend time with the baby. Everyone was out shopping, hunting, working, or who knows where. I was home alone, just sat in the kitchen the house by myself thinking. Holding Amelia had me thinking how bad I wanted a baby. It's been 3 months since we started trying again and have had no luck what so ever. It's beginning to irritate me.
I got up from the stool in the kitchen, grabbed my keys off the counter and left. I drove down town to the fertility clinic to see if they could do something to help the process of making a baby. I know I shouldn't be doing this but I can't wait any longer, waiting for a baby to come naturally is just not happening.
I walked in, filled out some paper work and once they called my name I went into the room. "Hello, I'm Dr. Carmona. What brings you here today?" She said
"Well I'm here to see if you can give me something to boost up my reproductive system. My husband and I had a miscarriage over 6 months ago. We have been trying and trying and trying but we just haven't produced a baby yet."
"I see, ok I'm going to prescribe you a medicine that will boost it up a bit. I can give you your first dose right now if you would like to and you can have intimacy with your husband starting tonight. Then give you the rest up front?" The doctor offered
"That would be fabulous!" Seth wouldn't be home tonight cause he was on patrol till tomorrow morning. So tomorrow night wouldn't be happening either. The doctor nodded, went to the cabinet and grabbed a pill and little water bottle out of the mini fridge. She handed me both I took it and we both headed to the front desk.
She handed me a a mini bottle. "This is 2 weeks worth, if nothing happens a week after the 2 weeks are up. Come back and see me and we will take it up a notch." I nodded and thanked her.
I drove home in the dark, it was about 6:30. I pulled into the driveway and all the lights were on in the house. Will must be home getting his clothes for the night. I got out and headed inside.
"Will?" There was no answer. "WILL!" I screamed. I walked into his room to find nothing. Nobody was in there. I started to get worried, maybe I was being robbed. But then again Will could have came and left and forgot to shut off the lights.
I walked upstairs to put the pills in the bathroom. "Hey baby, look at you, looking all sexy." I nearly jumped out of my skin, I dropped my purse and everything went everywhere. The light turned on and Seth came running over. "I'm so sorry I scared you. I thought you read my note in the living room." I laughed and shook my head.
I bent down and cleaned up all of the stuff, to find my pill bottle open and pills everywhere. "What are these Ella?" Seth asked. Oh, no...I'm in trouble. At this point, I was screwed.
"Nothing.." I said picking them up quickly and taking the bottle out of his hand.
He lifted my face so we were making eye contact. "Ella, tell me what these are. You never take medicine, what's this for?" He asked.
I got up off the floor and put them in the bathroom like I was supposed to do I the first place. He followed me in the bathroom waiting for an answer from me. "I went to the fertility clinic after Ashlyn was in the hospital having the baby. They had a girl by the way, little Amelia. She's the cutest thing wait till you meet her-"
"Awhh how cute. I'll have to call and congratulate them!" Seth said interrupting me. "Continue I'm listening..." He then said.
"I got so anxious to have a baby I felt we should try getting a kick to the process and maybe get pregnant faster. So the doctor gave me medicine to help it a little bit." Seth came up to me and grabbed my face.
"We don't need help babe, we an do this without anything. It takes time. I know you want a baby, I do too but medicine isn't needed." He said to me. "If you want, go ahead and take them, I'm not stopping you. You want to speed up the process, then lets speed up the process." He said with a smile then kissing me.
I couldn't help but be so excited. Of course tonight nothing was going to happen since Seth needed his sleep. I couldn't wait to see if anything happens. I was way to excited to sleep so I watched tv most of the night while he slept. I watched sappy movies and sappy love stories such as The Notebook, A Walk To Remember, The Vow, and Included my personal favorite, My Sisters Keeper.
The next few nights will be fabulous, we will get to start out fun filled nights. Keeping my fingers crossed we can get pregnant fast!
