Chapter 2: Oh Brother

Grayson's P.O.V

After Texting Brook for a while she had to go eat lunch with her family so we stopped texting.

I know I barely know her but she seems so amazing and she's beautiful. she has gorgeous brownish/caramel hair with lightly tanned skin and hazel eyes that remind you of autumn. and she's short compared to me it's pretty attractive, and all together she looks perfect through my eyes.

"Hey, Ethan you really missed out today" I say and he looks at me with a confused face

"What did I miss?" He asks

"Oh nothing, just the most amazing girl in the world" I say laying down on my bed crossing my arms behind my neck

"There's a girl?!?! I thought it was just a bunch of old people!!!" He yells

"Chill dude, and no I'm guessing it's just her and her parents" I say laughing

"Ugh, this is why I'm single, I always make wrong decisions" he says shaking his head

"Well, we should invite them over for dinner or something" I say

"Orrrrrr we could like take the girl to like the mall or something" Ethan responds

"We?" I say

"No, not again, not this time, she's mine alright this happened with Ivy"
I say bring back a horrid memory

"Okay, but like it's not my fault she liked me instead of you" he says and I grab a water bottle on my night stand and throw it at his face and it hits him.

"What the hell was that for?" He screams

"For being a dick"

Brook's P.O.V

After lunch I got a call from Gray.

"Hello?" I say answering the phone

"Hey B um I was wondering, how would you like if we went to the mall tomorrow?" He asks nervously

"I'd love to" I say smiling

"Great! How's 5:30?" He asks happily

"5:30's great" I respond

"Alright see ya later Brook" he says finally calling me Brook

"Alright, bye Gray" I say and the call ends.

"Hey mom can I go to the mall tomorrow with a friend?" I ask

"You have a new friend already?" She asks

"Yup, he's our neighbor" I say happily

"Ooh it's a he" my mom says wiggling her eyebrows in a funny way

"Don't do that mom" I say laughing

"Well, what's his name?" She asks

"Grayson" I say smiling uncontrollably

"Well, of course you can go but we need to meet him first" my mom says

"Yay!!! Thanks mom" I say giving her a hug

"You're welcome sweetie"

NEXT MORNING

I wake up and for like the first time ever I feel completely good.

I jump out of bed and skip downstairs to eat breakfast.

"You look cheery this morning" my dad says

"I am" I say happily.

"We're looking forward to meeting you're friend" my mom says

"I can see you guys liked the cookies they made" I say looking at the empty container
