I've waited too long for this moment
That I forgot how it felt..
It's like your first view of snow..
Or you just found the end of a rainbow..
Can't help but be overwhelmed in awe..
Heartfelt, and things just altogether go slow.
Time is as fast as a moving arrow
When you're with the right person.
But still, when your person doesn't show..
And while with the right company..
It's pure bliss.. A different kind of happy..
I didn't know I could make someone
My needed break.
The warmth goes down the spine and my fingertips as we speak..
The new normal exhausted me to bleak.
But let this one be told..
Being with you is like a vacation from the world.
