Chapter Seventeen

Victoria

"Go, and attend your class, Crescencio. Don't tell me you won't attend again?" I asked Banana. She's sitting on my single sofa sexily and comfortably. We actually are here inside my own office.

Hindi siya umalis at binantayan lang ako.

"Maaga pa naman." Tumingin pa talaga ito sa malaking orasan na nandito sa office ko. "Pinapaalis mo na ako?"

"So you can prepare for your first class, Kid."

Lagi na lang kasi siyang absent tapos wala akong naririnig na nagrereklamo sa mga co-teachers. Pero kahit gano'n, she's passing projects, activities, and some assignments that I am giving to their class. I am amazed by the way. I know her handwriting kaya alam kong gawa niya lahat ng iyon. Medyo messy nga lang pero matalino siya, I'll tell you that.

Hindi lang siya ganito sa klase ko dahil kahit sa iba ay hindi siya nagpapabaya. But I still want her presence inside of their classes because sometimes, attendance is a must.

"Talaga? Parang pinapaalis mo na ako e." Here we go again.

Gladly, I have my secret room inside the office so I can sleep here if may meetings na sobrang important like just happened yesterday and will happen later. The thing is, I didn't know what my father does to make it happen.

"Most likely, Banana. So move now."

"Aray ha." I rolled my eyes. Aray daw pero natatawa. Is she crazy?

I didn't know that I forgot my important folder at our house yesterday. Dumating tuloy siya kagabi na ang totoo ay ang Daddy ko dapat ang pupunta para ihatid 'yon. Kaso ayon siya at biglang lumitaw at hindi ako sinabihan ni Daddy.

I can't even believe what I heard last night. She sings so great. Akala ko ang mag drawing at mang asar lang ang kaya niyang gawin. I didn't know that she can sing like that and tease me with those lyrics. I am so flustered with that, seriously.

"May klase ka pa."

"May klase ako pero mamayang 9 am pa raw Miss Dela Merced." I feel myself getting pissed off again. Ang pangit pakinggan 'pag tinatawag niya ako ng ganiyan. But yet, I need her to call me that at hindi kung ano-ano lang dahil estudyante ko siya pero minsan hindi ko mapigilang sitahin just like now—

"Stop addressing me like that, Crescencio." She just stare at me like she always does and smirked at me para lang mainis ako. Mang aasar na naman siya.

"Talaga? Kahit nandito tayo sa University ngayon? Okay, Mahal sabi mo e." I hissed at her. That's what I just freaking expecting.

Magulo rin kasi ako minsan and I'm guilty. Minsan ayaw kong tinatawag niya akong Miss Dela Merced but she needs to kasi ayaw kong may makarinig sa mga tinatawag niya sa akin at baka complications ang kapalit. Minsan ayaw ko ring tinatawag niya akong Victoria, Irog, or what but seriously, it sounds great.

I'm also done taking a shower and I will just take breakfast in the cafeteria. Maybe I'll see Tala in there kasi nabanggit ko kagabi to meet me before breakfast.

Kasama sila sa meeting ngayon dito sa University and what I mean about sila is hindi siya nag iisa. She's with Alexandria Gabriel. Tala seems so fond of Miss Gabriel, the SSC President of Black Lily University and a friend of Banana Crescencio.

I wonder if Banana knows that her friend is here.

While staring at Tala and Alex, the likes of Miss Gabriel are evident in her eyes when she looks at Tala. Those two have something to each other, I can sense that.

But I am not sure if the relationship is romantic because all I know, student and teacher relationships and affairs are forbidden.

"Anong iniisip mo, Victoria?" Until now, Banana sit there while staring at me as she asked that and speaking of. Naalala ko ang keychain.
