"(Y/N)! Help my put my cap on- I can't do it!" Sasha complained from her dorm room. I had just finished putting mine on. "(Y/N)!" She shouted once more, thinking I didn't hear her loud ass the first time.
"I'M GOING, I'M GOING!" I finally shouted back as I applied a fresh layer of lip-gloss. I hurried out of my room and ran over to Sasha's, knocking on the door before opening it. Unlike normal, her room was clean...and empty. Mine was too.
Sasha's white cap was on crooked and the tassel faced the wrong way. I sighed out in disappointment, prompting Sasha to smile sheepishly at me, avoiding eye contact
"How many times have we practiced this, Sasha?" I asked, sitting her down on her bed so I could adjust her cap. She looked down to her lap and bit her lip.
"Like, I dunno, 42 times?" She looked back up at me as I fixed her tassel. "I'm just nervous...can't believe we're graduating and moving out- feels like yesterday that we met...I don't wanna live in a house without you!!" Sasha whined.
"Four years fly fast when you have great friends." I took a step back, holding my hand out for Sasha to grab, then I pulled her up. "Not even if you'll live with Niccolo?"
"Not even! ...think Abel will be there?" She joked.
"He's locked up, dummy." There was a beeping in my pocket, and I pulled out my phone. "Chanel just texted; Her and Jean are in the car already. Let's go!" I rushed Sasha out the door, holding her hand as we made it out to Jean's car. Armin was waiting outside the back seat of the car for us, opening the door and letting Sasha go in first. She climbed in the third row seat with Connie and Marco, Onyankopan seated in our row. Armin greeted Onyankopon as he got in the car, sitting in the middle, so that left me with the window seat. Jean was driving and Chanel was seated in front with him.
"Hey guys. Can't believe this is already happening..." Onyankopon commented, looking down to his lap.
"I know, right! I still can't believe Connie even passed the first semester!" Jean joked as he pulled out of the parking spot, starting our journey to the graduation field.
"Okay, we all know you're just jealous of my superior intellect, Jean." Connie retorted, crossing his arms over chest.
"He's right, Jean...the only reason you passed was cause I kept on letting you look at all my papers." Chanel joined their little bickering session. Jean looked over to Chanel, and they both just smiled. Two pair had only started to date recently, Jean wanted to make sure he was completely over Mikasa before starting a relationship with her.
"Guilty as charged." He smirked, agreeing with her statement. "Alright, let's get this show on the road."

"(Y/N) (L/N)." Principal Zachary called out my name, holding my diploma up for me to see. The camera's were pointed to me as I heard my friends cheer and clap. I was so damn anxious, but held my head high as I walked across the stage, grabbing my diploma and shaking his hand. I turned to the camera, they were supposed to take pictures, and smiled.
'God, I hope I don't look fucking stupid.' I thought to myself, and with a deep breath, I walked back over to my row. It was a long and exhausting ceremony before the last name was called out. I was seated so far from my friends it felt cruel.
The only thing keeping me sane was the occasional looks Armin would give me— pretending to be asleep, rolling his eyes, it was all making my night so much better.
Once that last person's name was called out though, we were allowed to stand and regroup with our friends. I ran over to Armin, who pulled me over to our whole main group.
