Chapter 11: My future is him?

We were sitting in front of a river when a fish jumped out, causing Katara to jump up and shout "look," getting all of our attention; I watched the fish eye Sokka and held in a laugh.

Sokka "He is taunting us, you are so gonna be dinner hey, where's the fishing line?"

Aang "Oh, I didn't think you would need it, Sokka."

He held up a cute bracelet with a pink flower in the middle of it, causing me to smile, knowing who he was making that, for I remember when I was that much in love like it was yesterday.

Sokka, "Awwwww, it's all tangled!"

Aang "Not tangled, woven, I made you a necklace, Mizu. I thought since you lost your bracelet, I would make you a necklace."

I said, "I did not see that coming, but just so you know, pink is not my color; however since you made it for me, I'll wear it. Thanks, I love it."

Sokka "great, Aang, maybe instead of saving the world, you can go into the jewelry-making business."

Aang "I don't see why I can't do both."

I put the necklace on and watched as Sokka got annoyed by the fish, who was no doubt taunting him; he threw the fishing pole into the river, and the fish jumped back out of the water to make Sokka go crazy.

Sokka "Stop taunting me."

I stand there to not call attention to myself because I do not want to be the center of attention, but to my dismay, Aang turned around and looked like he just saw an angel or something causing him to stutter.

Sokka "Smoochy smoochy, someone's in love."

If the fish hadn't hit Sokka in the face, I would have; after his comment, Aang couldn't talk straight, so I just ignored it and walked over to the fish Sokka was trying to get and grabbed it.

I said, "Never let a boy do a woman's job, Sokka; you suck at providing for this team; maybe I should do it from now on."

We suddenly hear a roar coming from behind a rock which made everyone runs off and find out what was going on I look at the fish.

I said, "This is your fault. I was trying to make myself look good, and you made my team run away; now your unlucky; I'll let you go."

I dropped the fish into the river and took my time to get to where everyone was not wanting to fight at the moment, still remembering the times when I lived in the palace.

~ Flashback ~

Zuko "Mizu, are you coming, or do you plan to stay up in that tree like a monkey?"

I said, "Prince Zuko, I do appreciate the thought of me, but you should focus on yourself so that one day you can rule the nation."

Azula "I don't think that will ever happen with how horrible he is at firebending."

Zuko "At least I don't force my friends to be around me."

Azula "Right, so then why is your maid in a tree instead of next to you?"

I said, "I just prefer not socializing with the royal family because I'm not important, so now that we all have debated on useless thoughts, why don't you two have to go to your classes."

Azula walks away with an annoyed expression on her face, and I start to read a book, not saying a word when a small pebble hits me right in the forehead.

Zuko "She's gone now come down here so that we can go to class together. I'm not leaving without you, Mizu."

I said, "I don't see why your fussing over me. I can take care of myself, Prince Zuko, maybe worry about yourself."
