Chapter 9: I'm fire nation leave me alone

We were in a fire nation forest, just waiting around when we hear Momo scream like he was in trouble; we find him hanging in a cage in a tree, Aang then saves Momo, and Sokka saves the other animals. We start packing when Sokka says no flying because Zuko is tracking us by watching Appa, which for once made sense. Katara and Sokka start having meaningless conversations about who was the leader in this group, but if we're honest, it's me; I know my way around the whole earth. 

I said, "Guess if anyone were going to take the leadership role, it would be me; I know everything there is to know about this earth." 

Katara"See, a responsible adult like Mizu would be a great leader, why do boy's have to think  they are the boss. I bet you wouldn't be so bossy if you kissed a girl." 

Sokka, "I've kissed a girl; you just haven't met her." 

I said, "Well, he did kiss Suki before he left the island." 

Sokka had us walking, and almost instantly, Aang and Katara both start complaining. I, on the other hand, was watching the view of all the trees. I proceeded to take my cloak off, knowing we wouldn't bump into anyone. And just as I thought we would be fine, Sokka walks through a bush, and we walk into a fire nation campground, so I hop on Appa and just watched the show. And the fire troops get taken done but some weird team that I find one of them to be unsettling he reminds me of Jet, but there's no way that's- and I stand corrected it is him well I'll keep my distance don't want to start a fight while Katara is making gogo eyes at him. 

I said, "Hey Katara, you should marry him. I'm sure you would love him. He's great at cheating and getting any girl he wants." 

Jet "Mizu, is that you? I can't believe you are still alive after the last time I saw you; you were falling off a waterfall." 

I said, "Did you really forget what I am, and here I thought you were smart." 

Pipsqueak, Smellerbee, and The Duke all ran over to me. I put out the fire before they came over, and they grabbed me in a group hug; luckily, Jet didn't go with them. 

I said, "Hey guys, long time no see it's been a while. I hope you guys were taking care of Jet while I was gone because I'm sure there were many girls after I left." 

Smellerbee"Well, we all can agree that he should never have let you go. You were the best girl to happen to him." 

I said, "Huh, maybe you should say that a little louder I don't think I can hear you." 

Jet "I'm right here, you know I can hear her just fine what you missed me or something maybe you have grown more beautiful." 

I said, "Katara, you better not fall for him; he's not who he claims to be, he's a no-good liar who you shouldn't trust, but you'll find out on your own I'll stay here with Appa you guys have your path." 

I watched as Sokka and Katara fight about Jet and how he's a liar, and Sokka is right, not Aang and Katara are too caught up in his lies to even see thru it. Sokka gets caught by Pipsqueak and Smellerbee and then gets free. I help him getting the villagers out but showing my rank as a General, and the fire nation soldiers listen to me. Sokka and I appear with Appa tellingJet, Aang, and Katara that the villagers were safe and out of the way; while Jet tried to get Katara on his side, I just laughed. 

I said, "You think it's ok to kill anyone who is in the way? How do you think that anyone will trust you now that they know?" 

Sokka decided to talk no stop about his instincts being right while I just rolled my eyes; then Aang told Sokka that we were going the wrong way, which made him embarrassed, then he turned us around. 

I said, "And that is why we trust me and not Sokka."
