And we've reached the end of Skin Deep (the short story version, at least).
If you're reading this, I can't thank you enough for following this tale! It was my first time writing in a contemporary setting and from a villain's perspective, so I was really excited and a little nervous to explore something new. All your support really encouraged me!
When I started writing this, I didn't realise I'd find Jacintha and her dynamic with Orion and Snow so interesting. There's a lot more story in here, maybe enough for a novel...
So, what do you think? Should I expand this story some day? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
If you're looking for your fairytale retelling fix, check out my novel The Gazelle. It's a Mesopotamian-inspired Rapunzel retelling.
If short stories are more your thing, I have a fantasy stand-alone (A Mother and A Monster), a fantasy collection (A Land of Legends) that you might enjoy. If you prefer contemporary settings over fantastical ones, maybe check out my spooky, romantic Halloween tale (Ghost Flower) or my spring-themed chick-lit short story (Something New Blooms).
