DISRUPTION

You thought you had everything planned out, but you forget that man plans... God establishes...

Marley and Tracy entered a large spacious hall with lots of screens on the wall advertising various companies and products. At the end of the hall was large glass doors above which lay a large screen displaying in fancy font, "Welcome to Streampoint Ventures".

From there they entered an also large and spacious reception. They approached a large reception table. It appeared to be made of glass and plastic and trapped the cheerful receptionist in a semicircle. The plastic body was actual not plastic and the glass top was actually touch screen technology! By the left and right were white soft and long couches and on the floor intricately carved in the marble was Streampoint ventures' logo.

Tracy greeted the receptionist and leaned on the table while Marley conversed heartily with the receptionist. Tracy noticed this and was shocked. She tried to listen to their conversation but it was just some stuff about yesterday's stressful activities of the receptionist. She was shocked. How did Marley, a director, know so well the itinerary of a receptionist?! Tracy shook her head to keep her mind in check and looked at her surroundings to pass the time. Wow, her grandfather really tried.

Marley and Tracy were now already in the office. It took them thirty minutes to get to Marley's office. Marley was cheerful with everybody and she was often frequently asked why she came to work during lunch time. She answered them cheerfully and smartly.
"I don't usually take so long to come up but I came late and I know they will be worried about me. I am usually the first in the premises except if I tag along with dad." Marley said dreamily but before Tracy could react she suddenly frowned as if internally asking herself the question 'why I am I telling her all these?'.

Tracy was shocked and then she remembered how Marley ranted about her loving the company. Tracy nodded and sat on the window sill. Marley's office was a luxurious office. It was by a large glass wall. Her table was long and curved at one edge and was almost like the receptionist's table but more fancy with elements of wood. Also only a quarter of the table that curved at her side was touch screen while the one in her front was still high tech but not touch screen. On top of it was a cool desktop, a nice pencil cup and a small mini slanted wooden shelf where she kept some essential items. There were shelves on the white wall and a long grey couches at the other end of the room with modern coffee tables. Towards the glass wall was a round table with seats. The glass wall was punctured with many windows which can be closed and become part of the glass wall back. She looked back at Marley. Marley offered them lunch and left towards the cafeteria. It seemed like she was trying to avoid more awkward moments.

Tracy sighed and closed the window and looked through the wall. The headquarters of Streampoint had five buildings in its compound. The executive skyscraper was in the middle. It was a 21 storey building housing the CEO, directors, executives from worldwide branches, head of departments and the likes. Marley worked here as a director. Diagonally to its left above (or northwards) was the wide head factory, to its right above it was the consumer block which was a 14 storey building meant for holding meetings with consumers, housing the computer servers and workstations directing their worldwide consumer service, large halls for launching products and the likes. Also diagonally to their left below (or southwards) is the marketing and purchasing building. This is where selected products from their branches and factories are gathered and tested, also where they displayed for investors, a mega mall for display and the likes. Also factor inputs purchased are examined in this building and purchasing sector organizes all purchases. It was a 10 storey building but was the longest. Finally diagonally to the right southwards was the administrative building. It was recently constructed and its need not yet specified but was used as an additional office space. Mr. Trenwood was trying to keep everything modern.
