Shang POV

" This is my girlfriend Aysia , everyone ." I said as I pulled out Aysia's seat . She waved . I continued " Of course you know , Rasaki ." He smiled from across the hall " Nice to see you again Aysia." Aysia got up and rushed to give him a hug . I bowed to my grandfather " Pa Li this is my girlfriend Aysia , she'll be joining us this morning ." I heard Kieran's little feet run down the stairs " Daddy !" I picked him up " Hey Kie !" His eyes became even wider when he seen Aysia " Ayshia !" His little body scrambled out of my arms and went slamming against Aysia's legs . She hugged him " Aww Kieran I missed you so much !" I looked towards my grandpa who was smiling at the sight . Xena came tumbling down the stairs yelling " Kieran , you left your Legos all over the stairs !" He let go of Aysia " Fine , I'm coming !" Xena squinted her eyes " I will break your ds if you don't hurry up those stairs little fish "! Kieran looked at her "I am a green belt now I don't think you want this aunt x !" Xena chased him up the steps . I began laughing , Rasaki joined in . The house servants were bringing down breakfast from the kitchen to the dining area . When we got our food Aysia was looking a little uneasy . I moved a little closer to her " What's wrong ?" She looked down " What kind of meat is this ?" I chuckled lightly " Don't worry it's just shredded pork ." Aysia looked at me " Okay but it better not be mice or duck ." I had a dull expression plastered on my face " okay Aysia ." She continued eating her food and I did the same .
Conversation started about 15 minutes into the meal .
" So Shang how long are you guys staying in Taipei ?" Xena questioned . I started " About three weeks ." Kieran smiled " Can I come to the hotel ?" Aysia smirked at me " Yeah can Kieran come ?"! I laughed " You're coming home with us Kie , so you have to get all your things for aunt Xena house ." Rasaki stood up " well I have an announcement , it sucks that father isn't here .. probably working , nor our brother rest in paradise , but I Rasaki Li is graduating from the academy ." My eyes widen " That's amazing little brother, I'm glad you know how to work all those gadgets and all that l." Grandfather smiled " I was excepting some grandkids, " He looked towards Rasaki and Xena. Aysia giggled and smiled " I'm pretty sure they'll have some Kieran's or Xena's running around." I laughed while I stood up " Well I have some good news for all of you , " They gazed at me " What is it ?" I walked around the dining area and swiped a finger on the cross with the rings . Its traditional for the Li family. I stopped when I reached to the side of Aysia. She looked at me and I looked back slowly making one knee to the floor . The lights were dimmed I knew Xena was playing along, I chuckled then became serious again. " Aysia , Monae Norwood .. I can't even describe , how much you truly mean to me, and I know us falling in love wasn't planned but, I'm glad that it happened .... So I'm asking for total commitment,"
I slowly put the engagement ring on her hand , " Will you marry me ?" I looked up at her face that was crying , smiling and turning pink .

Aysia POV
"Will you marry me ?"

My whole body stopped for a second when I heard those words . I thought it'd be years before Shang would propose . I had a excited confused expression on my face . I was thinking about the future which caused Shang to think I was going to say no . I felt his families eyes still on me and his wide koolaid smile was fading. I heard his voice " Aysia , will you marry me ?" I snapped right back to reality " Yes , yes I'll marry you ."
I never seen Shang so happy before other then the time I visited him in jail . I felt his hands lift me up into a kiss to his lips . I kept on laughing at least I thought I was and he was wiping my tears away. Grandpa Li walked over to us "congratulations to you both ."

Rasaki eyed Shang and gestured him to the kitchen . I looked at Xena and she shrugged " I don't know ." Grandpa Li had sat next to me and began " I know this is your first time meeting me , but I appreciate you being there for Shang , his ex Reina was a terrible mother and everyone in the family hates her." My mind wondered did he not know she is dead , it's not my business to tell him though . I put on a soft smile " On the bright side , Shang is stable now , and I think he even might .. leave the family business ."
Father Li's smile dropped " I don't know about that , the only way to leave is to kick the bucket , everyone is born into it , you know anyone's drama is everyone's drama , either married into it or born into it ." I nodded " I understand, papa Li ." He grabbed my hand " How exactly did you and Shang meet?"
I gulped and put on a smile " Well ,"

Shang POV

Rasaki was getting ready for a lecture he was going to spit . " Shang , you know the rules and you know father ." I shrugged " I really don't care what father has to say ." Rasaki sighed " You are marrying an assignment , a girl who was strictly needed to figure out why they killed our big brother !" I grabbed my forehead " THIS IS EXACTLY WHY IM LEAVING THE FAMILY BUSINESS !" Rasaki grabbed my shoulders and pushed me against the fridge " I ALWAYS LISTENED TO YOU I WAS LIKE YOUR ASSISTANT , YOU ARE GOING TO LISTEN TO ME DAMMIT ... YOU HAVE NO CHOICE YOU HAVE TO STAY AND YOU CAN'T F*CKING MARRY HER !" I pushed him off of me " don't fucking touch me , we both know what I'm capable of ." Rasaki through some punches by my ribs and I kicked him in his stomach . He fell to the floor. I stormed out the Kitchen fixing my hair in the process . I didn't see Kieran he must've been upstairs. I looked towards Aysia " let's go ." Xena looked at Aysia " Text me!" I was walking to the front door " Aysia Lets go !" I opened the door and looked at Xena " Your B*tch ass husband is on the floor , he might need some ice ."
