After she learnt that all seven members of BTS were her soulmates, it was very late. Instead of Anna travelling home alone, they offered her one of their hotel rooms for the night. They always booked a room each so that they would have somewhere to have time to themselves, but rarely did any of them sleep alone. Taehyung gave his room to Anna. The cheeky singer tried suggesting that they share, but Jungkook dragged him away to his room.

The next morning Namjoon knocked on her door.

"I know this is a lot, but we want you to join us for the rest of the tour," the leader announced. He had been chosen to have this discussion with Anna, mainly because he was the only one fluent in English.

"You do?" questioned Anna. She didn't know they had been looking for her. She didn't know how happy they were to have finally found her.

"Yes. We know it's sudden. I mean, we only just met. It might not even be possible for you to just uproot your life for us. You might not even want to."

"I want to."

Anna had been up all night thinking about it. She knew that if she wanted to be with her soul-group, then she would have to move to Korea. She was self-employed, a freelancer, so she could technically do her job anywhere. Why would she stay: for the friends she saw only once or twice a year, for her family who wasn't around. In truth, she couldn't think of a reason to say no.

"Are you sure? I know you're a fan, but that doesn't mean you know us. How we appear on camera isn't the real us."

This was something some of the other members had asked Namjoon to bring up. As much as they tried to portray their true selves for the camera, they still had to show a certain image. They didn't want Anna to make such a big decision based on their Idol personas.

"It isn't?"

"We are made to look, well, perfect, but each of us has our flaws."

Anna was slightly offended by Namjoon's comments. He was talking so seriously that she couldn't help but play with him.

"What?" she gasped looking shocked. "You mean you have flaws like a normal person!"

"Huh?"

"I was worried you were living gods that could do no wrong and there was no way I would ever be good enough for you."

"Umm, I'm confused."

Anna decided to take pity on Namjoon who was not used to her use of sarcasm.

"I understand why you're telling me this, but I consider myself to be a realistic person. I know that, just because I've seen you on camera, doesn't mean I know you." The leader looked rather shocked at her candour. Gone was the shy girl from last night. "Sorry, I didn't sleep much last night, so I'm a little..." Anna waved her hands around as an explanation, unable to find the right word to describe how she was feeling.

"You didn't sleep?"

It threw Anna off that her lack of sleep was what Namjoon decided to focus on. Meeting his eyes, she saw worry there to match the frown between his brows. It was strange to her, to have someone worry about her.

"Well, I had a lot to think about."

All she had been able to think about since they told her was how insane this whole thing was. BTS being her soulmates was like a dream come true, it was too good to be true. In fact, it was laughable. How could she, in all accounts a plain and boring girl, ever match up to them.

Yet, on the other hand, these were the boys that she looked up to, whom she loved. Saying she loved them might make her seem like a crazy fan, but she wasn't under any illusions. What she was sure of was that she didn't have anything to lose by going along with this dreamlike scenario. After all, they say it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
