Chapter 26

After I got the call from Jaden, I quickly chucked all of my clothes into a bag and got in my car and started driving to Jaden's house.

After a few minutes I finally get there. I run inside and leave my bag in the car.

Blair: Eth! I'm here!

I hear tiny footsteps run down the stairs. A few seconds later I see Ethan running towards me with Jaden following him.

Blair: Woah Woah Woah! Slow down, We don't want you to get hurt.

I say as he starts slowing down.

Ethan: Mommy!

Blair: Hi baby!

Ethan: Mommy, can you stay close to me now that you're here?

Blair: Of course honey!

I pick him up as he gives me a hug.

Blair: Hi Jaden!

I wave at him, Who was akwardly standing there.

Jaden: Hey

He smiles.

Jaden: Do you want to sleep in the guest room? Or you can sleep in mine-

Blair: No, the guest room will be fine thanks.

I smile while placing Ethan back down.

Ethan: No mommy! You can sleep with me!

Blair: Baby, I don't think your room is big enough!

Ethan: yes it is! Daddy slept with me last night!

Jaden: Eth, I slept on the floor. It was very uncomfy.

Ethan: But what if I get scared?!

Blair: if you get scared you can come through to my room or Daddy's. Does that sound good?

Ethan: Mhm, Come and see the cookies me and Daddy made!

He grabs my arm and takes me into the kitchen.

He hands me a dinosaur shaped cookie.

Ethan: try it!

I take a bite and not gonna lie it was pretty good.

Blair: woah that's amazing buddy, I'm surprised your Dad helped with that!

Ethan: Granny taught us how to do it on facetime!

Blair: Ohh that sounds more normal.

Jaden: Hey! I know how to cook!

He says now walking into the kitchen.

Blair: Jaden, You can't cook.

Jaden: Ugh shh! Anyways, My mom is coming over soon to take Eth out so we can do some work?

Blair: yeah okay.

Jaden: Come on Bud, Let's get you ready.

Ethan nods and runs upstairs with Jaden following him.
