I wake up in the morning next to my handsome fiancé. I was so happy to know that he would be my husband after today. Right after the wedding, we're heading over to France. It's going to be a great thing to experience together. Luke has already been to Paris, but he always promised me that we would go together. It's finally going to happen after all these years!
I sneak out of bed. I grab my diary out of my drawer and go downstairs. I go into the kitchen, sitting down at the table. I open my diary and start writing today's entry.
Today, I will officially be Mrs. Hemmings. It's all happening so fast. I couldn't think of a better person than Luke, who I would rather spend the rest of my life with. He's perfect in every single way to me. I can't wait to start this new chapter of our lives together.
"Babe?" I hear Luke coming down the stairs.
I close my diary.
"What are you doing?" He walks into the kitchen. He then sits down at the table with me.
"Just writing," I say.
"About?" He asked.
"Can I read it?" He tries to grab the book off the table.
"No." I quickly reach to take it from him.
He looks at me curiously.
"It's for Layla to read one day and our other children."
"Other children?" He was now smirking at me.
"Yes," I spoke quietly now.
"I like that," he replied.
I smile at him.
"Coffee?" I get up from my seat at the table.
"Sure," he answered.
I go over to the coffee machine and make some coffee for the both of us. As soon as I'm done, I pour Luke a cup. I place it on the table in front of him.
"Layla's still at my mom's house." I tell Luke, trying to make small talk.
"Are we going to get her? Or is your mom taking her to the wedding?" He asks me curiously.
"She's taking her, so we don't have to worry about that."
He nods, taking a sip of his coffee. I sit back down. I open my diary and continue writing. It was one of the many things that I enjoyed. I loved writing, I could do it all day.
Harmony and I were getting ready to leave to go to the wedding venue. Everyone else would be there soon to prepare for the wedding ceremony.
"You ready?" I ask my beautiful fiancé.
"Yes," she nods he head.
We leave and go to the car. I was carrying my tux and she was carrying her wedding dress. It was tucked away in it's bag. She said that I wasn't allowed to see it because it's bad luck.
We get in my car and drive to the venue. When we get there, I help her out of the car. We walk into the backside of the venue.
Harmony is instantly greeted by the girls. They drag her away from me, to get her ready. I smile and walk off to the boys. We needed to get ready too. It was finally going to happen.
"Thank god you're here. We need to hurry up." Stacey and Rose rush me into one of the rooms.
"Guys calm down. We have nearly two hours, before the wedding starts."
They both nod.
I get into my wedding dress. The girls also get into their bridesmaids dresses. I put on the jewelry that I would be wearing throughout the day. The makeup artist and hair stylist soon come in, after a half hour of waiting for them. The woman does my hair for me.
She does a waterfall braid, then curls my long hair. She places a red flower in my hair after.
"Thank you," I tell her.
"Anytime sweetie," she said.
Then the makeup artist comes over and does my makeup. The hair stylist goes to do the girls' hair. It took about an hour and a half to finish everyone's hair and makeup. We have about a half hour to get everything in place.
"Today's the day," my mom said.
"I know." I smile at my mother, who now had tears in her eyes.
"Awww," I smile admiringly at her.
"I'm so proud of you, Grace."
"Thank you," I reply.
The wedding ceremony should begin soon. But for now, I just spent my time talking to all the girls.
We hear our cue to go and take out places. The girls rush outside. I stay back and wait to go down the aisle. My mom walks me outside. We stay back far away from everyone else. I observe the trees and trail of flowers carefully. I take in the fresh afternoon air. I was ready for this.
I hear the sound of the music playing. I start walking slowly.
