A streak of light came into view, it gave her a sense of warmth and protection. Her hand tried reaching for it. But it went further away, it calls for her...
"Lylas!"
She chases that light, she kept chasing it. She wants it, she wants to be near that light, always together. The light grew as she gets near it and a dark silhouette began to appear as she gets closer and closer to her destination.
"Lylas!"
"Mom?"
The silhouette started to look a bit more clear as she progressed. Wearing the usual thick blue jacket and a fur scarf, the familiar figure opens their arm as she reaches for them.
"Lylas!"
"MOM!!"
She lunged at the figure, and was given back a tight yet comforting hug. She thought she would be alone in this void, yet that person has come to her aid.
The light gets brighter as she was greeted by a shadow hovering over her blurry vision. Few seconds later that same shadow began to look more clear and soon she can see the figure with blue silver hair and golden eyes. Her goo like hand tried to touch that face and it accepted her touch by getting closer to it.

Its been almost a week since demon lord Rimuru Tempest's evolution.
After Rimuru awakens from his slumber, the newly evolved slime was greeted by his family and companions. He was glad that everyone is safe and well.
But the same thing can't be said towards his daughter who apparently still undergoes her evolution and has yet to awaken. Even if his Unique skill, Raphael (evolved Great-sage) said it was okay and Lylas will be fine he still kept carrying her around despite the ressurection festival going around.
And now that unease and tense moments has finally come to an end the moment her daughter laid her eyes on his humanoid figure. She reaches her slime hand to his face and he embraced her in return.
"Welcome back, Lylas..."
"Mom..."
"Kuh!... Y-yeah, I'm here."
The hug lasts for a bit much longer. They didn't realize it yet, but several prying eyes were watching this very touching moment and soon left the scene without making any noise. They decide it would best to leave their leader with his special reunion.
The hug that felt like it was never going to end finally stops as Rimuru stood up from the wooden terrace of his private house while still carrying Lylas in his hands.
