~• Part 29 •~

I examine the the box and saw my name and address on it. It is mine. Maybe I forgot something. I then tore the wrapped away and found another box. I opened it and saw a gift card. I took and read it.

"You must be wondering why there's a delivery when you didnt ordered anything, right? It's me. I know you don't have a dress. Moreover it's me who invited you to be my partner, so I guess I need to give you something right? It's all on me. You can wear it tonight. Be pretty. See you later ^^

Without I realizes, a smile crept up to my lips. Tsk he never failed to make me smile. I opened the box and saw a very beautiful purple dress, a stunning heels and also a masked. Wait, does this gala night have a theme? Why would he give me a masked? Shrugged it off as my eyes stuck to the dress. It's so beautiful. I can't lie, I'm so excited to wear it.

It's already 7 in the evening and I'm here waiting for him to come and pick me up like he promised. Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I looked so different. I look pretty? I slightly smile to myself but got interrupted when I heard a honk outside.

Grabbing my clutch that also Wonwoo who gave it to me and running downstairs. I saw his car and quickly get into it. I was buckling my seatbelt when I felt eyes on me. I looked to the side and saw he's staring at me. I nudged him and he cleared his throat.

"We're going to be late if you keep staring at me" he just nodded and drove the car away. It takes about 40 minutes for us to reach the hall. It was a one huge and beautiful hall. I saw many peoples and car were queuing in here including us. There's camera flash everywhere.

I looked to him and saw he already wearing his masked. He then took the masked from my hand and put it on my face. His face was too close to me as he tied the masked at the back of my head. It made my breath halted and flustered. He then back away while smiling like nothing happened and continue drive to the front lobby. I looked away and cleared the unexisted lump in my throat.

The valet then opened my door and I slowly walked out. Wonwoo then come at my side and put my hand on his arms. We then walked insides. The flash makes me feel a little bit dizzy. We arrived inside and there I saw there's a pool of business people. I can see every one of them come with a partner.

He introduced me to some of his friend and continues to talk with them. I don't understand a thing and just nodded as I feel so nervous. I can feel he tighten his grip on my hands to help me calm down. I looked at him and saw he already looked at me smiling. "It's okay. Don't be nervous. I'm here" he said and I just nodded.

After about almost an hour, I was sitting alone at the table since I felt tired and he was still busy with his business partner. Couldn't blame him. He is one of the big name here. Just then I spotted some people started to dance. So this is the gala night. I then continue on drinking my drink when someone suddenly asked my hand for a dance. I was hesitated at first but then accepted his hand.

I hope this can help me overcome my timid and nervous act.

Third POV

"Oh, you finally arrived" Mr Choi the CEO of the Choi enterprise and also the owner of this Gala night greeted. "Of course. I've been invited. Couldn't make you upset, aren't I?" he sarcasmly said. They then keep talking and laughing mostly about business without minding anyone. They then went to the table to have some drink when his eyes stopped at this one person.

"Who is that?" He asked interrupting their talk. "Who?" the other person asked. He then pointed to the girl at the table. "Oh that? If you mean her well that girl is Wonwoo's partner. Beautiful isnt she?" Mr Choi said that made he frowned. "Wonwoo?" He asked back and the latter nod. "Yes. Your cousin, Jeon Wonwoo" he then turned back his head at the girl direction, narrowing his eyes.

Wonwoo's POV

She looked so damn beautiful. I can't keep my eyes off of her even though I'm not with her right now. "Wonwoo? did you hear what I said?" my friend questioned snapped me from my thought. Shaking my head to shrugged it off and continue talking with them.

As I'm talking with them, my eyes glued to her and saw she's dancing with someone. She looked so tiny, not only from afar but also when she's near to me. A chuckled suddenly escape my mouth that made both of them puzzled. I realized what I did and apologize to them.

"Ayyy it's okay Won. We know how it feels to be in love" one of my friend, Yunho said. While the other one nudged my elbow that made me smile.

Seeing her being happy again made me feel even more happier. During these past 4 years, I've seen how she went through all the hard road. Crying and mourning for her loves one. For her unborn child. For her former husband. She keep blaming and hurting herself. Even her past trauma coming back to haunt her. Her stutter becoming more and more worst that she suddenly stop talking for a year and keep locking herself in her room. It shocked all of us. She rarely eat and sleep.

After many times, us trying to persuade her, she finally agree to see a doctor and get a treatment. I've seen how hard it is for her for all the time she's been in rehab. I'm glad she's better and are back like before.

It was so hard to make her talk again but we succeed. Her smile and her laughter. Seeing her dancing with other person shows she's been more opened up, more better and more happier. She's such a strong person. I've learned so many things about her from both Jooyeon and Jaehyun. It made me feel light hearted.

"Won are you alright? I keep seeing you smiling alone.." Yunho tugged me that made me come back to reality. I just shook my head and walked to the other side with them. Leaving her alone for a while. I hope she will be just fine.
