I never really asked to be in the spotlight.

I knew it would happen, eventually, I knew that when I first heard Troye sing.

He was always just so passionate about it, there was no way he wouldn't make it in the big leagues.

So yes, I knew what I signed up for when we started dating.

Why'd I still date him?

I have no clue.

"Connor, I'm going out, do you want to come?"

"Depends, who's going to be there?"

"Uh, just the usual, Zoe, Alfie, Tyler, Caspar, and Colleen said that if she can convince Josh to come along, she'd come too."

Tyler.

"Uhm, no thanks, I'll stay here."

Troye looks at me for a second before pulling out his phone.

"Troye, what are you doing? Troye?"

He puts a finger up, which obviously symbolizes, wait.

"Uhm hey, Tyler? Yeah I don't think I can make it. Yeah, my car is acting funny again. No, no, you go, have fun. No, I don't need you to pick me up, it's fine. Okay. Love yo- erm, bye."

"Troye, you didn't have to do that..."

"Oh hush, I wanted to. Going out every weekend is getting old anyways, so what're we watching?"

"Well, I was going to just finish the season of Unbreakable Kimmy Shmidt, have you been watching it?"

"Nah, isn't that Tina's show?"

He's on a first name basis with Tina Fey.

"Yeah, it's so good, you literally can't not laugh while watching it."

Later, in bed, I can't sleep.

Is it just me, or did Troye tell Tyler he loved him?

When even was the last time he said he loves me?

"Troye? Troye, babe are you awake? I love you," I whisper, and there's no answer.

He's asleep.

Maybe it was by habit, I mean he says I love you at the end of the call, to everyone.

But, if he says it to everyone, why'd he stop himself from saying it to Tyler.

Maybe, just maybe, I'm overthinking this.

(I overthink things a lot if you haven't noticed.)

Troye would never, ever cheat on me. Ever.

I check the time, it reads 3:17.

Okay, I've officially been awake too long.

I'm an incredibly light sleeper, so when Troye wakes up, I wake up.

He goes to shower, I cook him breakfast.

Yes, I am basically a suburban housewife.

Now, I can't really cook, but I can make one of Troye's favorite meals.

Avocado on toast.

Troye's doing some business thing today for a tour he's planning, so lately he's been gone for a while during the day.

I check twitter, as usual, but I haven't been on since the Grammys, I don't even know who one any but Troye.

So I open twitter, and I see a bunch of hate tweets directed towards me.

Connor doesn't deserve Troye, especially if he can't even handle the red carpet. - @kateysivan

Okay so omg.

Since I mentioned Colleen, I feel like I should tell you her job thing.

She's a comedian. She has a persona Miranda Sings. (its Colleen as in Colleen Ballinger)

Also, the thing at the beginning in italics (not the song) is an excerpt from connors diary/journal thing. i think im gonna do those for every chapter.

and for the song, thats just a song that kinda went with the chapter.
