A/N: School AU, I hope you enjoy!

You were walking home after school, and as usual Victor followed your trail.

It was almost the end of the year. In fact today was the last day of classes, all that was left was the dance at the end of every school year. Yes, that school dance, the one you've been planning 3000 different ways to ask Victor on.

Its not like it was special or anything, it happened every year! and Victor was just a friend, a really dense one at that. You sighed in annoyance and Victor laughed at your little motion. ' You must love torturing people don't you?' you thought to yourself as you looked at his sweet little smile.

You casually drunk from your juice box from time to time, until you finally finished it and aggressively crumpled it. You breathed in and reviewed the words you had practiced so many times in your head.

"So I have something to say!" you stopped walking and Victor walked a few steps before stopping to look back.

"Yes Y/n?" he asked.

"well I-" you stuttered and could only fold your lips as you forgot the precise words you wanted to say.

"oh- uh anyway before you say anything" he closed his eyes but quickly opened them again.

'oh please just ask me instead, that would be so much easier- please' you thought to yourself. "yeah?" you said looking to the side and flipping your hair.

"I got you this" he took out something from his pocket.

He handed it to you and you hesitantly opened it. "a coupon to the old soup shop?" I asked.

you paused then nervously laughed "th- thanks~ its really nice of you.....". "I love coupons!" You jumped and clapped your hands together. "but I actually think that's out of business now"

"uh-- Y/N that's not what I mean-" His hands retreated and his cheeks went pink. He looked away and scratched the back of his neck, "I wouldn't give you something like that for this-"

"this?" you squeaked. "wh- what's "this"" you asked.

he calmed down and reached his hand out, "I want to take you on a date".

"a... date?" you muttered.

"yeah it's been a long time hasn't it? We've known each other since the start of high school" he said. "I really wanted to go around the places we often went to with you" he smiled.

"that's really sweet" you said. Your hands went to hide behind your back and you smiled. You were thinking about a silly school dance, when Victor was thinking about all the time you've spent together throughout the years. After all after this, you would both go to college and many things would change.

You laughed at the thoughts you had earlier. You were so nervous earlier but in the end Victor was just Victor.

"lets go?" he asked.

You nodded your head and followed along. "by the way where's wick?" you asked. He continued the silence, only letting out a little hum.

The sun was hiding behind the clouds now, you were in the hours where everything looked blue. It wasn't quite like the saturated blue on the sky on clear days, it was more like a nice hue that covered over the atmosphere. A light tint indicating the settling of the day.

"We'd usually visit some street food place by now" You said. "or we would run to the book store to buy materials for projects"

"yeah or..." he muttered.

He tugged at your hand, motioning to hold his. You gently held his hand in yours and he walked towards somewhere. It was behind the shops you mentioned earlier, and up a hill with a shed you remembered all too well. The door was slightly rusty and leaves had grown over the brick walls. It was the abandoned soup shop that he had a coupon of.
