Lost Control

Over with the lies!

Seth held his wife's hand tenderly while his eyes still looked into hers. The memories of this deserted place were many for both of them. Seth had stood at Becky as a proper husband. He had protected her from all who wished to harm her in any way, he loved her more than his life. She turned and looked him in the eyes

"May I ask you something?"she said to him while her voice trembled, Seth nodded slowly

"Anything you want," he said to her.

"Why did he let me go with you that night?" she asked him, his eyes darkened at the question. And Seth was confused that night when Dolph allowed him to take his sister, but  he soon found out what the real reason was

"Bex, you'd better not know, the truth" he said, not because he didn't want to tell her, just because he wanted to guard her. To protect her from a truth that was pointless and only pain would cause her

"Seth, if we want the new beginning in our marriage to succeed we must finish with the secrets," she said, and she looked at him with her eyes clouded. Seth couldn't bear to see his wife like that. He took a deep breath

"I didn't even know why he did it, but soon I learned," he began to say. Becky listened to him intently

"Why?"she asked softly

"Dolph owed a lot of money, to usurers, to dealers, to a lot of night time bastards, just like he owed me, but these guys weren't kidding, in the end you would pay his debts, they would rape you and then you would end up a whore in some lousy bar selling your body to pay off your brother's debts, he knew that I was a man with honor, that you wouldn't pay. he let me take you with me, he knew that with me you would be safe and that no one could hurt you" he told her with a breath, Becky felt the Air finish in the room, let go his hand and went out to get some air. Seth followed her and embraced her. She clasped her body upon him.

It was the moment she came face to face with a truth she never expected, realising that the people of the night were not joking. And that Seth was her good angel. He who had been in her way at the right moment and had saved her. She raised her gaze and looked him in the eyes

"I love you," she said in a low voice, and before he could answer she drew him up and kissed him passionately on the lips.

Seth returned the kiss for a few minutes. then he made back to get air, with his fingers, wiped away the tears that ran down her cheeks, and kissed her on the forehead.

"I love you, too, and I promise you when we disengage ourselves from these last troubles with Nemesis, I will begin to work only legally," he told her, and she smiled.

"Really?"she asked him and he nodded

"Really, I want everything to happen from now on in a legal way, I don't want to put your life in more danger, nor the life of our friends and of course the life of our child" he said and she opened her eyes wide

"What?"she told him startled

"We said We'd start trying for a kid before you left, remember?"he told her and she nodded

"I remember, I just didn't expect you to want it still," she said.

"Of course I still want it, a child of yours and mine will be the best thing that has happened to me" he said, and she smiled at him with her best smile

"And I want to have a baby, your baby" she told him, and tangled her fingers between his

"Well, shall we? we've been sitting here long enough, lets go shop for our friends 'wedding and enjoying this beautiful sunny morning" he told her, and Becky gasped.. She smiled at him tenderly. They got into the car and started for their ride. The door in the past had closed, there had been no secret left between them, and so now they would make a new beginning.

And while Becky and Seth had decided to enjoy their walk to the shops, their morning coffee and enjoy that their marriage would come on a footing with no more secrets between them, and would continue as if those 6 months never existed Finn was worried.

His meeting with him and what he had told him about Bayley had alarmed him. He didn't want to leave her alone to face that beast which had been so violently treated to her, and he missed her immeasurably. He had spent the night in his office, not wishing to return to Nemesis's hiding-place. He asked his secretary to cancel all his appointments, and he left the office, on the way to Nemesis' lair he was calling Bayley again and again but he could not find her anywhere. He reached the lair open the door and went in.

Nemesis was waiting for him in the living room, she was vexed at his absence, without Finn and Eva under her control; her whole plan was going down.

"Where Have you been?"she asked him annoyed

"In my office" he answered dryly,

"why the fuck you look like shit?"she asked him, and she got up from the chair she was sitting on.

"For personal reasons," he said to her in the same cold tone.. She approached him and laid her hands on his chest.

"Finn, baby, what's the matter with you? why did you come home like that?"she told him and tried to kiss him; but he turned her away.

"I just want to sleep my head off the alcohol is going to break," he said, and passed her by. He walked up to his room and locked the door. Something in him about Nemesis had begun to change.

He took off his suit and put on his pjs. He lay down on his bed and opened his cell phone, started looking at the pictures with Bayley. at that moment he realized how much he missed her. How much he cared for her and how much he loved her. How important she was about him, and how he was probably in love with her after all. And he had to lose her to figure it out. And he was determined to do anything in order to win her, to run after her to stand by her as he had done so many years undisturbed. He searched his bag to find the friendship medal they had exchanged as students. But instead he took out a wedding invitation. he took a good look at it, opened it. Of course, it was the one for Maryse and Mike's wedding. Inside the invitation there was a note open the note and read it

"If you want to find love your life go, but without her knowing it, and do as I told you, take Bayley, and go away; only so you will be redeemed," he read the note over and over and over again.

And now he knew exactly what he had to do. He would tell a lie to Nemesis, and go to Maryse's wedding determined to claim the wife of his life at any price, at any cost.

I know am not updating so much but i have an inflammation in my write wrist and sometimes its hard even to write a word. I will try to update once a week. I am not overdo it. Doct's order if i want to avoid a surgery.. So i hope you enjoy the story so far. Let me know what you believe is gonna happen in this wedding. Any ideas? Untill the next chapteE.
