Today, it will be two months since Luke asked me to marry him. I'm having my dress fitting today. I'm also bringing the girls along, so that they can have their dress fittings too. We make our way over to the dress shop. I go inside, holding the door opened for my mom and the rest of the girls. I was holding Layla in my arms. Her face nuzzles into my neck. She was sleeping soundly.
"Right this way." A woman tells us behind the counter.
We follow her into the back room, where we would all be trying on the dresses. I go into one of the fitting rooms. I put the wedding dress on. It had a perfect fit on me. The top was hugging my body in all the right places.
"Good?" She asks me.
I nod, "it's prefect."
"Let's go show them," she suggests.
I go out of the fitting room to show them all the now fitted wedding dress. They smile in awe and I couldn't help, but smile back at them.
"You look amazing!" My mom told me.
I turn to look in the mirror again. I carefully observe the dress and it's every detail. I was really happy with the results. I look over at the girls to see them come out in their bridesmaids dresses.
"You guys all looks so beautiful," I tell them.
The girls smiled.
Suddenly, Layla starts clapping her little hands. She was now in a fit of laughter.
"You like it?" I smile at my little girl.
She puts her thumb in her mouth. I pick her up and hold her. She plays with my hair, like she always does.
"Yeah?" I laugh at Layla's actions.
She giggles again.
"This is your daughter?" The woman asks me.
I nod my head, a small smile appearing on my face.
"She's such an angel," she replied.
"How old is she?"
"She's 7 months old," I tell the girl.
"Awww," she replied.
After the fitting was over, we grab the dresses and leave the shop. We all make our way back to my house.
(At the house)
"Hey babe." Luke greets me with a smile on his face.
I go over and kiss him.
"How did the fitting go?" He asks me.
"It went good."
I turn to my mom, who was holding the wedding dress in it's bag.
"Can you do me a favor?" I ask her.
She nods her head.
"Can you bring the dress up to my bedroom?" I asked.
"Sure honey," she said.
My mom disappears up the stairs, while going to my room. We all sit down on the couch and just talk for a little while. My mom comes and joins us all soon enough. I had baby Layla in my arms. Her head snugged into my neck, as she usually does.
Everything was going perfectly. Nothing could ruin this and I mean absolutely nothing. I had Luke, I had my friends, and my baby. This was all I needed.
(I hope you liked this chapter! Next chapter will be fast forwarding a bit. I want to make it closer to the wedding. I have not much else to write about rather than the wedding and events that occur after that. So, I hope you guys don't mind that I fast forward a little.)
