Rea opened her eyes and found herself standing in the middle of the golden fields of a world that no longer existed anymore except in the depths of her mind. She didn't feel the need to question her being there. She felt as if this was where she belonged. The sunny fields of Adaira were as beautiful as she remembered.
It was on a bright shiny day that she first met him. The sun was at its peak in the sky and its shine made anything underneath them dazzle. Maybe that's why she thought his eyes were dazzling. A mesmerizing shade of grey.
When he parted his lips and spoke, she thought that his voice was honey-like. Smooth and sweet; however, what came out of his mouth wasn't that pleasing.
"Watch your tone! You're talking to the Crown Prince."
Andrea felt a scoff pass her lips. She might not be the Queen of their lands, but she was never once looked down on in all her eighteen years of existence in Adaira. And that wasn't about to change anytime soon.
She dragged her eyes over the entire form with the most disbelieving expression ever. "As if."
That seemed to have touched the nerve of the fae boy. She watched satisfied as his jaw ticked and a vein stood out on his temples. One could guess from a single glance that the fae was one of those spoiled brats who had never touched his own spoon in his entire life. The kind that had others to spoon-feed him. The kind that was deluded enough to think that they were the future ruler of Adaira.
He opened his mouth to say something but Andrea had better things to do with her life than listen to the deluded proclamations of a deranged fae.

The next time she came to be, she was atop him. No, literally.
"Fae or human! You don't mess with me, boy!"
Punch
"ARGh! GET OFF ME, YOU CRAZY WITCH!!" His agonized cries were music to her ears.
Punch
"What did you call me, fae?!" She screamed, throwing more punches at his beautiful face. Her long raven hair tumbled down her shoulders and they were disheveled and covered in mud and dirt. The fae on the ground wasn't any better. They must have been at it for quite a while.
"Get off!"
"Make me, wimp!"
Maybe she shouldn't have said that for she was abruptly thrown to her back and the roles were switched. Oh, how the tables have turned. The fae's hands were clasped around her wrists in an effort to subdue her and a triumphant grin was on his lips. "Got anything to say?"
Andrea stopped struggling. She raised an eyebrow and made a show of looking at herself and back to him. A suggestive smirk formed on her lips. "Oh. So this is what you had in your mind?"
The fae's brows furrowed in confusion before it shot up his forehead in a horrific realization. He snatched his hands away from her as if it burned him as she sputtered out a flustered, "W-What?!"
An evil cackle tumbled out of her lips before her legs shot out and delivered a kick to his stomach. He keeled over in pain. Another cackle left her lips as she shot up from the ground, dusting off her soiled skirt. "Maybe next time, loser."
