"Why would you be nervous? After all, you were in the Miyagi Prefectural sports magazine."Kageyama shrugged, stuffing his hands in his Karasuno jacket.

"I'm not nervous you jackass!" You shouted, crossing your arms. "Has Takeda told you anything about what we'd be doing today?" You stared at the ground, talking more quietly.

"He said something about a scrimmage, not completely sure though." Kageyama scratched his head. You nodded slowly, pulling out your phone to take a look at the time.

"I have about thirty minutes." You grimaced, looking at the boy in front of you for any type of reaction.

"You should probably get changed, people start dropping by around this type to warm-up," Kageyama said, turning on his heel to the gym.

You huffed, turning to jog to the girl's locker room. Once arriving there you struggled to unlock your locker, a problem you've always had.

"Dammit, this thing won't budge."

You then hit the top right corner, and to your surprise, it opened up for you. You smirked, a small victory was just as good as a big one in your book.

Grabbing your gym clothes, you changed into them quickly. After changing you took out your book bag and pulled out your volleyball shoes and knee pads you fought to fit in the bag this morning.

You went up to the sink, looking at yourself in the mirror. You tied up your hair into a tight ponytail, allowing some strands to fall and frame your face.

You gave a gentle smile at yourself in the mirror, finding your outfit aesthetically pleasing. You quickly put your bookbag back into your locker and went on your way back to the boy's volleyball gym.

In no time she made it there. Approaching, you heard the loud slams of the volleyballs hitting the floor.

You grimaced, the spikes you dug didn't seem nearly as powerful as those hits.

"I can't be scared now. I'll adjust to it and beat them either way." You hyped yourself up, letting a small grin fall on your lips.

Walking into the gym was like a completely different experience. The lights shone much brighter, blinding you on the first step.

The smell reeked of wood polisher, which you didn't mind too much. The gym was entirely bigger than what you were used to, overwhelming you slightly.

You inhaled deeply, clenching your fists until they turned white. You were now aware of the people in the room rather than the surroundings.

You recognized a few faces, however a lot of people you didn't. Many eyes were on you, some confused, whilst some did not react at all.

"Hey, y/n come warm up with us!" A voice was heard from the other end of the court. You snapped your head that way, immediately recognizing it.
