I was glad to hear it when the doctor continue again "But...there's a but Jeonghan, she's in a comma state. Actually it was 50-50. She lost lots of blood, she was also having lots of shocked and trauma that it led her to the stage. She's a strong girl and I believe she will be back. I hope you both will stay strong." He said and patted my shoulder before leaving us there.

I was happy 5 seconds ago but now I feel like the whole world is crushing down and it's all because of one person! Damn I was hella mad that I could and would kîll her with my own hands but I'm not that low and dirty as her.

Stood up, I know what I'm going to do. I leave the hospital and went back to my office. You want it to be like this? You asked for it, then I'll give it to you. It's not like I even care.

Eunjin's POV

I guess I zoned out a lot that the driver keep asking me if I'm okay. I just nodded and stay silent. Just then my phone ring. Creasing my eyebrows at the name because it's so unusual for him to call me.

"Hello?" I said as I pick it up.

"Eunjin...I...I have a very bad news..." he said from the other line.

"What? what is it?" I asked anxiously.

"Just come to the address I'll text" he then hanged up and I give the address to the driver as soon as I get it.

'Hospital'

I read the signboard when we arrived. Hospital? what are we doing here? Just when I got out of the cab I saw he's standing at the door with a sad and mellow face.

"Jaehyun, what happened? why are we here?" I asked but he stay quiet and keep leading me inside. We then went into a room and what is in my sight almost made me fall to the floor but he got me.

"Eunjin..." he said but I freed myself and went to the bed. "M-Mom..?" I was trying to hold my tears but failed. Why is this happening...

I walked to her and caressed her soft hands as I sit beside her. She then opened her eyes slowly and smile as she saw me. "M-mom..I misses you." I said and hugging her. Her condition are so weak that she can't even lifted her hands. I thought she was getting healed but turned out like this.

"I...misses you...too m-my dear..." she then coughed hard. I gave her water but she rejected it and kept holding my hands.

"Mom, I-I'm sorry for r-rarely visiting you..I-I'm sorry for n-n-not calling you often...I love you so much.." I said and hold her hand close to my cheeks with tears flowing out. "I....i-it's okay....I...understand..but...I want...you—to...promise me" she said sounds so tired and out of breath. I tried to stop but she keep want to talk.

"P-promise...me..you will...a...lways...be happy....healthy...I..lo-love...you.. so much..." she said tiredly with eyes barely opened. I then kissed her forehead and hands "I promise you. I love you so much too" I said while crying. She then smile and close her eyes.

Just when I thought she was sleeping but no.. I tried to wake her up but no, she didnt. The meter there also showing a straight line. I was so panicked and Jaehyun bring a doctor in. They tried everything the can to save her but still..

My heart broke and the whole world come crashing on me. I was crying my eyes out and keep wailing no. Jaehyun come to help me and calm me down.

Jaehyun's POV

What happened in my sight are something that I didnt expected it. I went to her home earlier just to check on her mom but instead I found her mom laying on the floor unconscious. I quickly bring her here.
