Unexpected Change (DISCONTINUED)

• Chapter 1 •

~ Kokichi's POV ~

I woke up when the morning announcement came up. I got dressed and headed to the dining hall. Before opening the door I put on my wide smile like every day. I walked into the dining hall and everyone seemed to be at their own table, eating and chatting. 

I went to the kitchen and grabbed some biscuits and my favorite panta.

 As I opened the fridge I saw Kirumi staring at me from beside "I noticed you've been eating that almost every day. Isn't that a little unhealthy for you?" I looked at her "Nishishishi, I'm fine plus I'm not that hungry" Before she could even talk, I quickly grabbed my panta and ran out of the kitchen back to my chosen table, and sat there.

I was drinking my panta when suddenly a screen popped out and there was monokuma. "Alright you little brats, Everyone get to the gym for a new motive" And then the screen went black and disappeared.

Damn Bear. It's been a week after Kaede's execution and Monokuma has already made a new motive. I stood up from my seat and stopped my thoughts. I quickly finished my panta and left my biscuits untouched at the table. Everyone started leaving the dining hall and headed to the gym, I followed behind. 

Once I got there almost everyone was already there.  

Monokuma appeared on the stage laughing. "Greetings everyone ready to hear the new motive?" He said with an evil grin on his face. Once everybody heard that I can see some of them frowning while some were sighing as they know this new motive is going to be terrible.

I quietly sighed and smiled "Can you tell us what this motive is about monokuma?" After saying that I heard groans from some of them. "Since you asked nicely, ill gladly explain. I and the mastermind thought of an idea for the new motive, And that is by giving one of you your past memories back" Monokuma explained, "What do you mean by past memories?" Miu asked. "You see, Everyone in this game had their memories erased, which means you have no memory of your outside life. Not only you will get your memories back you will also get your personality from the past" Everyone stared at monokuma, trying to process the new information they discovered.

Everyone snapped back to reality when monokuma spoke again, "By the way, once you've received your past memories then your present memories will be erased. I froze while hearing that but still kept my smile on. "Anyways, I've already decided the person for this motive. And that lucky person isssssss....". 

And with that, I could tell everyone was in their thoughts. Probably hoping that they weren't the one monokuma chose. I just stood there with a smile while waiting for the name of the one he chose.

"Our precious Supreme Leader, Kokichi Ouma". My heart dropped from hearing my name but still managed to keep my act on. "Come on here grape boy" I started to walk towards the bear on the stage. 

While walking, many questions had entered my mind If my present memories get erased, then what will happen to my plan to save everyone from this sick killing game?! Will my plan go to waste? I quickly snapped back to reality before thousands of questions could fill my mind.

I noticed I was already on the stage with monokuma. A chair that looked like an electric chair popped out from the ground "Sit right there on the chair" I didn't ask any more questions and just sat there quietly. 

I could feel myself slightly sweating by the fear of forgetting my plan. At least no one could tell I was scared because I still had my usual grin on. "Okay, this is gonna hurt a bit" Monokuma slowly placed his paw on the red button in front of him.

 "Nah, this is gonna hurt Hella bad" He quickly pressed the button after talking. My eyes widened as I got electrocuted.

~ Shuichi's POV ~

I was staring at Kokichi who was shaking like he was having a seizure.

I can see that he was holding back his screams but why? Before a question could even enter my mind I heard someone shout.

"HEY! QUIT THAT, CAN'T YOU SEE HE'S IN PAIN" I turned to see Kirumi, Tears threatening to fall out as she stares at Kokichi on the chair.

"Pupupupu, Sorry not sorry but I'm enjoying the despairing looks I'm seeing right now" I can tell that Kirumi was pissed because of what monokuma said. I understand her since Kirumi once told me that she sees Kokichi as her son.

A few screams later monokuma stopped what he was doing and untied the unconscious Kokichi from the chair "And my work here is done" Then he disappeared. Kirumi sprinted towards Kokichi on the stage. 

She sat down  and held Kokichi in her hands "Is he still alive?" Kaito asked

"Yeah" She responded in relief as she starts to lift Kokichi and went down from the stage and to the floor where everyone gathered up.

On the corner I saw Maki, She seemed uninterested in what was going on. 

Surprisingly, Kokichi wasn't bleeding which was good. 

"Hey Monokuma, when will the gremlin wake up?" Everyone stared up to Miu as she asked.

"In a few minutes, probably" Monokuma responded through the speakers.

~ Shuichi's POV ~

It's already evening and Kokichi still hasn't woken up yet. Some of them went to get lunch and dinner earlier and went back to the gym afterward. 

Since Kirumi was too worried for Kokichi to leave him alone, Gonta just brought her food so she wouldn't starve. 

"UGHHHH" I heard someone sigh in frustration.

"OI MONOKUMA, WHEN WILL THE ABORTION WAKE UP" Miu screamed

"YEAH, ITS ALREADY BEEN HOURS AND YOU SAID WE WILL ONLY HAVE TO WAIT FOR A FEW MINUTES" Followed by Kaito

"Would you guys stop screaming?! Can't you see, Himiko is sleeping!!!" Tenko said as they both closed their mouth.

"Cant you guys just shut up and wait?! Jeez, you guys are so impatient" Monokuma blurted out angrily which startled some of us.

And with that, all of us just decided to wait and spend the night in the gym.

Hopefully, Kokichi would wake up tomorrow...
