The wind brushing against her forehead felt heavenly, well it felt good as good can get when you're dreaming. Heh, ironic how the only time she gets to relax is when she's sleeping.

Sakura lay behind a large cherry blossom tree eyes closed and breathing in deeply, its branches overlapping to provide her with shade. The smell of flowers were circling around her and the quiet buzz of insects played over and over in her ear.

"This is a rather peaceful scenery you're dreaming about."

"Certainly is."

Sakura's eyes snapped open at the unexpected male voices and sprang up immediately, she scrambled backwards her back hitting the tree trunk behind her.
But that hardly mattered because what she was looking at in front of her certainly needed all her attention.

"... What the hell?."

Uzumaki Nagato and Uchiha Itachi sat before her, completely relaxed and unbothered that they had nearly given her a heart attack.

"Quite the mouth she has, doesn't she." Itachi said, a small quirk of his lips had Sakura blushing a deep red.
Her mouth gets away from her sometimes, sue her.

Nagato chuckled, shaking his head in what Sakura could only describe as fond.
"That's she does." He smiled and Sakura briefly saw the familiar face of Naruto there.
"How are you, Sakura-Chan?."

She blinked at them both, didnt they realize that they just appeared in her dream out of  nowhere without any sort of explanation.
"... I'm...fine..." She cleared her throat and looked at them firmly
"This is real right, you two are in my dream?."

Itachi smiled warmly at her, something she never caught a glimpse of when he was alive.
"Correct, we're merely visiting." His head tilted to the side with an intrigued look.
"You look well Sakura, compared to the last time we saw each other."

She blushed, a hand reaching up to finger at the length of her hair, it had grown out until her ribs and every bit a headache to see about.
"Thank you."

Nagato scooted closer to her even in the way he was sitting, skill she tells you, and placed a warm hand on hers.
She was shocked to feel the warmth of his palm sink into her skin. She looked up slowly, eyes beginning to burn at the realization that, yes, she was indeed having a conversation with two of the most powerful Shinobi that ever lived.

"... You're real." Sakura whispered, the tears building up and beginning to overflow as she turned to look at Itachi, who took that as his cue to place his own warm hand upon hers.
".. You're both real."

Itachi smirked, raising a hand to wipe away the tear tracks on her cheeks.
"Yes we are, Sakura."

Nagato leaned forward as Itachi pulled back to place a kiss to her forehead, directly on the diamond on her forehead. Sakura let out a sob as they pulled back.

She squeezed her eyes tightly, overwhelmed that this was indeed happening, that she was holding both their hands in hers.
"I... I'm... I'm going to bring you back." She hiccups, opening her eyes to look at them both, fierce determination written on her tear stained face.

Nagato smiled fondly, at the girl that faced so much challenges in her life, at the girl whose heart was to big for her chest, at the girl that never seemed to give up in any endeavor she set out to do.

"Word spreads face around us spirits." Itachi said, a soft look in his eyes.
"So happens it reached us in a span of three hours."

"What?." Sakura asked, confused.

"The day you met Hidan in that forest, when you two were talking about bringing us back, the spirits of the men and women who died there reported back to us, word for word." Nagato answered.
"This is the only way we could get to communicate with you."
