It's the next day (Thursday) and Mia and Gabriellle are dragging me to get our nails done. I haven't ever done acrylic before but they wanted me to get them. Who am I to turn down having me hands lookk presentable for once in my life.
I shower and change into a brown long sleeved shirt and shorts.

When I went downstairs, to the kitchen, I see my brothers (Mateo and Sebastian), Mia, Gabrielle and Gabriel Hernandez (Mateo's bestfriend) there.
"Buenas dias." I greet them and they all return my greeting.
I walk over to Gabriel, slapping his butt (something I did since we were small).
"Gabriel." I say playfully.
"Sofia." He replied glaring at me.
"Can you stop harassing my friend." Mateo says pushing my head slightly.
I slap his hand away and say, "Nope."
They all laughed at our interaction.
A few minutes later Mia, Gabrielle and I left for the nail salon.
"How do you know Gabriel, Sofia?" Gabrielle asks randomly.
"He has been Mateo's friend since they were small." I explain.
"Oh." She says blushing.
Mia was driving so I was able to watch her expression.
"Do you like him?" I tease.
"W-what no." She stutters.
"Sure you don't." I say dropping the topic.
She likes him.

Two hours later I was back home, I got acrylic nails that matched the color of my dress. I was tired when I came back home so I just took a nap.

The day of the ball finally arrived, Vincenzo was going to be my date to the event. I was getting dressed at Amelia's house (because she was doing my hair and makeup). I also wanted to get dressed there because Vincenzo was picking me up tonight and I didn't want my parents or brothers questioning me, they know he will be my date because I told them and then went to my room to avoid any conversation about Vincenzo. I plan on avoiding them till it is time for me to go to Mia's house.

I've been at Mia's house for about three hours now, it's 8:09 pm and the ball starts at 9:30 pm, Vincenzo said he would pick me up at 9:15 pm.
Amelia already did my hair and makeup, I only have to put on my dress and shoes, then I'll be done. Amelia doesn't have a date so she'll be going with Gabrielle.
