Skylar and I were seated at our table with a few of his family members and some whom he didn't know.

I looked over at the table of the bride, with her husband never taking his eyes off of her. You could tell he thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world. I really hoped that I would find love like that one day.

My eyes kept scanning the room for one person only.

Jason.

But he was nowhere to be seen.

"I'm going to the powder room." I quickly excused myself from the table, skylar was too busy talking to great aunty so he didn't hear.

So many thoughts were running through my head so I wasn't concentrating.

"Watch where you're going!" A deep voice hissed.

I looked up at the person, "Sorry." I whispered, looking into Jason's eyes.

"Crap, Jess. I didn't know it was you. Sorry." He muttered, not making eye contact with me.

He looked sad.

"Are you okay?" I carried on.

"I'm fine." He stated.

"Where's Cassie?" I questioned.

"She's... Umm...Sick." Jason hesitated.

"Really? Hopefully she gets better!" I smiled, well tried to.

Jason and I stood awkwardly facing each other, my eyes couldn't stay away from his grey eyes.

"I like you Jess." He finally spoke.

I had a feeling, because he made it quite obvious but I never thought he'd say it out loud. I was shocked.

"I-I don't know what to say..." I said, confused.

"Say you like me back." He whispered, staring into my eyes. My legs started to feel wobbly because his eyes were making me melt.

"You know I can't."

"Why not?" He questioned.

"Because. You're with my best friend." I hissed.

"What if I told you that we broke up?"

"Then I'd say that you're stupid for letting a girl like her go!" I yelled. I couldn't take this anymore. I had to get out of here, my feet ran towards the bathroom and I locked myself in the stall.

Skylars POV

"I like you Jess." I heard Jason's deep voice. I came to look for Jess and I hid behind the corner when I heard those words come out of Jason's mouth.

"I-I don't know what to say..." I could here her soft voice stutter.

"Say you like me back." Jason urged. I wanted to punch him so badly.

"You know I can't." She whispered sweetly.

"Why not?" He questioned her.

"Because. You're with my best friend." Jess hissed.

"What if I told you that we broke up?"

Jason mutters. WHAT?!

"Then I'd say that you're stupid for letting a girl like her go!" I finally hear Jess yell, and then I hear her heels running on the marble floor.
