Avengers Always Running

Ch. 25 "Chase"

                                              Jax POV 

I was currently on the roof, I was crossed I was on the roof of the stair well, my sword in my lap across my thighs, 

Being cooped up here in this tower is driving me nuts, if I don't get any action soon I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose my mind, 

I look up at the sky looking at all the stars in the sky, 

I sighed, 

Suddenly I hear someone drop right next to me, 

I look to my right to see Peter, in his spiderman uniform, 

"Hey Jax," He said his mask muffling his voice, 

"Hello Lover boy," I said 

His leg dangled over the edge of the roof of the stair well, 

"Beautiful night," He said 

"Mmhmm," I said 

"You know lover boy, I'm not as dumb as you and the others think I am," I said looking at him, 

"I don't follow" He said 

"The spending time together I know what you are doing," I said 

"I-" He began, 

"I have to say I'm a little disappointed in you lover boy, thought you had more game than that," I said smirking at him, 

"Well I-" He began, 

"If you really want to know me, perhaps, you can start by not following the orders of adults, too predictable" I said waving my hand,

He chuckled, 

"And you've got a pretty good head on your shoulders try using it for yourself would you," I said as I tapped his forehead with my pointer finger, 

I put my sword away I was wearing my uniform, 

I did a back flip off the roof of the stairwell, 

I walked to the edge of the roof, 

"What are you doing?" He asked,  

I reached down to my ankle taking the bracelet off, 

"Making things a little more exciting, I'm bored," I said 

Suddenly the bracelet started beeping rapidly, 

I got on the edge of the roof, 

"What do you think your doing!" Lover boy said 

"What do you think," I said 

I turned around, 

I smirked, 

"How about we make a deal," I said 

"What kind of deal?" He said looking at me like I had three head, 

"Okay 'IF' you can catch me, I promise I won't run, and we get to spend all the time in the world together just like they want us too," I said 

"And if I don't catch you?" He said 

"You get to explain how I escaped," I said 

He hesitated, 

"Tick, Tock lover boy," I said 

"Okay, Okay deal," He said 

"Excellent," I said 

I jumped off the roof like I was about to do a belly flop in water, 

"Jax!" I hear him yell, 

Using a grappling hook I swung to the next building and I let the fun chase from lover boy begin, I looked behind me seeing him swinging from webs, 

Hate to admit it but that is pretty cool, I thought as I tucked and rolled on the roof and started running, 

He shot a web at me and I ducked, 

I chuckled looking back at him, 

"Need to do better than that lover boy," I said smirking at him, 

"I will," He said in a flirting tone, 

Oh now he's playing hard ball I thought,
