(4 months later)
Layla is now 5 months old. She's just the cutest thing. She's so peaceful now. She hardly ever cries anymore. Today, Layla will be hanging out with her Aunt Stacey. Luke had something important to do with Ashton today. So I'm all alone today.
I drive over to Stacey's and drop Layla off.
"Ahh, my little princess!" Stacey smiles and takes Layla from me.
"I will be back later."
"Okay, love ya!" She told me.
"Love you too."
I walk back to my car and drive to the mall. I just needed a shopping day to myself.
I enter the mall and look around the stores. I go into American Eagle and look around. I found a couple of shirts and jeans. I buy them and leave the store. I then go over to Macy's. I look around the store. When I suddenly bump into someone. What do you know?
I look up at the two boys. It was Michael and Calum.
"Harmony, what are you doing here?" Calum asked.
"I'm shopping. What are you doing here?"
"Same reason why you're here" Michael said.
I continue walking through the store. The boys walk next to me.
"Why aren't you boys with Luke and Ash?" I look at them curiously.
"Luke and Ashton were just needed in the studio today. We're going in tomorrow." Calum explained to me.
"Where's Layla?" Michael asks.
"She's with Stacey" I reply.
"Oh" he says.
"Since you're here, why don't we just shop together?" Cal suggested.
"Isn't that what we're already doing, Calum?" I laughed.
"Well yeah but..." He starts to say and cuts himself off.
"You know what, why do you guys even listen to me?" Cal said.
"We have no idea" Michael replied.
"Basically" I said.
We walk into the sporting goods store. Michael and Calum look around. I just sit there waiting patiently for them.
"What do you think?" Calum walks up to me, wearing these ridiculous bright pink sneakers.
"Oh my god," I laugh loudly.
"Hot or not?" He asks me.
He frowns at me. Then goes off to look around more. Michael comes over and sits down next to me.
"What do you think is wrong with him?" I look over at Cal, who was now looking at the other bright neon colored sneakers.
"He was dropped on his head as a baby," Michael laughed.
"It all makes sense now."
" I hope you know that I was just joking, Harmony."
"I know that. Do you think I'm stupid or something?"
"Kind of, I'm not gonna lie" he said.
I give him an evil look. He laughs in response. Calum walks over to us, now ready to leave the store. We walk out and go to the next store. I decide to go to Victoria's Secret. I look around at the clothing. Meanwhile, Michael and Calum are in the bra and underwear section of the store. I walk over to them quickly. Cal now had a thong on his head and Michael had a bra held up against his chest. This is why I can't take them anywhere.
"Guys!" I try not to cause a scene.
"What?" Cal looks over at me.
"Really?" I point at the undergarment on his head.
"Oh yeah." He takes it off his head awkwardly.
"Do you guys think I could work this?" Mikey asks in a girly voice.
I look at the sparkly bra held up against him.
"No! Please put it down." I laugh at him.
A woman with dark hair walks up to us.
"I'm sorry, but we're going to ask you all to leave. Customers aren't too pleased about the scene you're causing." The woman told us, trying to be polite as possible.
"Okay, I'm sorry about these two idiots." I tell the woman.
She laughs in reply.
I walk them out of the store. The two boys start cracking up.
"It's really not funny guys."
"Yes it is! Come on laugh, Harmony!" Michael said.
"It's not funny," I repeat myself.
"I know you want to laugh" Mikey replied.
I pause for a moment. Then I start laughing.
"Yeah I do." I laugh with them now.
I take a picture of Michael and Calum without them knowing. I post the picture on Instagram with the caption, "these idiots".
I go to pick up Layla from Stacey's house. I go inside the house.
She gives Layla to me.
"Thank you for watching her."
"Anytime" she replied.
I smile in reply.
I walk out to my car and drive home. When I arrive at the house, I park my car in the driveway. I get out of the car and walk up the front stoop. I unlock the door and go inside the house.
I walk down the hall and into the living room. I see Luke sitting on the couch watching tv.
He looks over at me, "hey babe."
I walk over and sit down on the couch. He takes Layla from me.
"And how's my pretty girl?" He asks our daughter.
He reaches her tiny fingers into his blonde quiff. Luke started intently at his little girl. I smile at the both of them in awe.
"She really does love you."
"I really love her" he replied.
I just smile a little in response.
He lays her down on his legs. She kicks her legs out at his stomach. I laugh slightly at her.
"Stop it little one!" Luke says to her.
She's just a baby and doesn't understand anything he's saying. So, obviously she continues on kicking him. She looked up at her dad in confusion.
He picks her up and kisses her on the cheek. Layla's face scrunches up cutely. I take her from Luke and bring her upstairs. I put her in the bassinet and she looks up at me. She looks like she's about to cry. Then all of a sudden, she starts crying. I hear the sound of her loud cries. I pick her up and she buries her face in my neck.
"Calm down baby girl," I rub her small back softly.
"Let me," I hear a voice come from the doorway.
I hand her over to Luke and she immediately stops crying. She clings onto her dad's arm.
"Of course" I laughed.
"Don't be jealous, Harmony."
"Very funny, Luke."
