ethan drove pretty well for a fourteen year old, who has never driven before.

"guys, um, jesse must've taken the nest of souls to wherever his followers are buried, okay? um... where is that?"

"yep. found love at the snack bar, my friend. ha! ow..." "benny.." she frowned sadly at her brother, "okay, the prophecy says, 'the dead take root, a barren orchard beats the devil's fruit' or something? i don't really know" destiny said as rubbed her brother's back. "okay. a barren orchard, uh..." "you know, i gave her our address. fifty-three orchard park. come any time." "shut up benny, please!"

"wait... that tree. that tree from my visions!" "visions?" rory laughed, "e, are you on drugs?" destiny giggled. "shhh! i know that tree... okay, it's not possible..."

ethan pulled the car into benny's driveway. "benny?" "hm?" "i'm going to call your grandma to come get you, okay?" ethan said. "okay."

"okay. we've got four minutes left to save the world. you hang tough, okay?" "e, he's fine. if anything, me and rory could stay with him." "you sure?" she nodded. "alright, benny!" "whaaat?" he groaned, "your sisters staying with you, okay?" he nodded. "d?" "good luck ethan." destiny patted his shoulder. "you got this, dude!" he nodded before rushing off to the backyard. "okay what benny?" "are you and rory dating? seriously? him? he's
not right for you destiny!" she sighed. "i'm not having this conversation with you when you're basically high." she laughed, "you could do so much better!" "no, b, i really like him. i always have and you know that. so, could you just wait to have this conversation later? like when, you're not high." she giggled.

rory smiled to himself as he slouched in his seat a little.

ethan had ended up in the backyard but no one was there. "i never did like that tree," he told himself.

"funny how they name streets after what they tore down to build them." jesse said walking out from behind the tree. "this used to be an orchard; one of my favorite spots until your idiot ancestors burned my flock alive." "yeah? well, i'd say their only mistake was not finishing the job." he laughed silently, looking at his feet.

"you made me miss my target. so the rest of my flock may have to wait a little longer. that's fine. i still have enough Dusker souls here to resurrect a few dozen of the most powerful vampires that ever lived. and you'll have the honor of being their first midnight snack."

"well, you won't have to wait, because i'm going to reunite you with your flock right now." ethan said, pulling up his pant leg. "just not in this world. ha! ha!" jesse pushed the dagger out of his hand, pulling him down to the ground somehow. "it's funny, i knew your grandfather's grandfather. he was a loser too." he laughed, "courage!!" benny screamed, throwing himself onto jesse, resulting in him on the ground. "benny, you moron!" destiny yelled, speeding over to the group. "oops, sorry bud" "i'm sorry ethan, i told him not to!" rory soon caught up with her, running into her and knocking her over. "rory! seriously?!"

"the hour of rebirth has come. brothers, sisters, arise!" sarah then screamed, flying in the air and knocking the cubile animus into ethan's arms. jesse pinned her to the tree, "hey! i've got your friends in a box." ethan said, "and i've got your babysitter!" "okay, she's really just jane's babysitter." benny told him.

"give me the cubile animus the souls must be transferred now!" "sarah!"

"e! gimme!" destiny yelled, holding her arms out.  he threw it to her and she caught it, turning to look at jesse. "hey jesse! you want your cuban animals?" benny facepalmed, "then let go of my friend!" she yelled, waving the cubile animus around, "just give it to him, what are we going to do with a nest of souls anyway? eBay it?" benny told his sister. "now! hand it over or she dies!" "destiny, no, don't!" "alma, alphras, alnok, gatran!" evelyn and jane shouted out the window before lightning zapped jesse, making him fall to the ground and let go of sarah. "hey! you can have the box... but not what's inside!" destiny said, smirking "you wrecked their premier, now you deal with them!" she opened the box, letting all the souls fly free, "no! no! no!" jesse screamed "no!! what have you done?!" the souls attacked him, making him scream in pain as he fell to the ground slowly, then disintegrating. "i cant believe you dated that guy." benny said, "you dated him?! eugh, gross!" destiny said, fake gagging as she walked over to the group with rory behind her.

"that was awesome!" rory said as benny high fived his sister.

"oh, hey. you're back." sarah said as she sat on the chair, "have fun?" "yeah, it was fun,
except—" mrs morgan lifted an arm, "you know what they say about karma?" she nodded, "how was your night? did you have any trouble?" "uh, not much. it was pretty dead." sarah nodded, smirking a bit.

"no, no, no. i'd like you not to repeat these silly rumors of alleged 'attacks' in the theatre." principal hicks stated to the news people. "in the first place, fans of the vampire genre have, uh, active imaginations. and secondly, i am told that detective 3D glasses may have caused
adverse neurological side effects. in any case, these won't be any more Dusker events in my watch. believe it!"

"faulty 3D glasses?" sarah laughed, "who's gullible enough to believe that?" "i know right! there weren't even any glasses so how would it be their fault?" destiny laughed, "some people are just so dumb!" she shook her head,
disappointedly. benny face palmed. "so, d. how are you and rory doing?" ethan smirked, "good actually! uh, i haven't seen him since earlier when he let me do his hair again" she blushed as she spoke, "have you guys seen him?" they all shook their heads.

"you're not still dying, are you?" ethan asked sarah, "i mean, your mortal body seems to be doing just fine." "thanks. well, the twins' grandma makes a mean human blood substitute." "that, and she found
my spell book." "hey guys! hey babe!" rory exclaimed as he walked up to the four.

"rory!" destiny exclaimed as she ran up to him, "i haven't seen you since earlier and you didn't tell me you were going to leave without me" she laughed, kissing his cheek and hugging him tightly.

"it's pretty much all over." sarah laughed as benny fake gagged while looking at rory and destiny. the bell then went off, "let's go to class." he awkwardly smiled. "good idea." benny said. "so the trick with spells is you kind of phrase it like Klingon, but kind of, like, a, you know, Romulan twang and just a splash of Cylon—" "benny, shut up!" ethan and sarah both shouted at him. "sorry..."
