Aether harem ❦ Apocalypse (Part 5)

Xiao pov;

We were all reunited in the main room for a 'discussion'. 

"So as you may have seen, we are low on food and clean water." Diluc started "We'll be setting up a team to get some more." 

We all nodded, waiting for them to decide a team (Diluc and Zhongli, I feel like they would be the ones making strategies idk)

"So we have made up a team of 4 people, the team will have:

Xiao, Beidou, Jean and Aether." Zhongli announced,

"Alright, let's go get ready.." I said to the ones joining me on this non-pleasant 'trip'. It wasn't my first time going outside to find food. So, I knew what to bring. I packed some medicine incase someone gets hurt and a suprisingly still working flashlight in my bag. I took my spear and went outside to see them waiting for me. 

"Let's go shall we?" Jean said leading us to the entrance of the bunker, we climbed out of the base. The sun rose upon us as we climbed down from the bunker's entrance. We walked through the high grass and arrived at a city, well the city I used to live in. Liyue was it's name. It was a peaceful city, I liked it that way. We entered it, passing a few abandonned stores, we only checked the ones who would have useful things but we didn't find anything yet. 

Time skip  🙄💅

We found water, but it wasn't clean, so we decided to clean it back with the others. Still no food found. We decided to split up into teams of two to search faster. Beidou was with Jean and I was with Aether. "Hm..let's look over here" Aether said walking to a store with it's sign ripped apart. 

We both entered the shop, 

"I'm going to go look over there." I said to the blonde before leaving

"Okay, tell me if you find anything!" 

"Mhm."

I walked through the aisles I found some more water, but still no fucking food found. I turned to another section, I did find  a couple of things to eat but not much. 

"Mmm..Aether? I found some food over here." I said, no response. "Hey, you there?" I said, peeking my head out of the aisle I was in. Still not here, maybe he's in the first one? 

I walked over to the first and saw him, looking at the counter, "Hey, what's wrong?" 

"Xiao get your spear out, I think there's some husks in here." He whispered

I nodded and got it out, we heard boxes falling before 3 husks got up from the counter, they immediately spotted us. The blonde instantly sprinted at them, slashing their flesh away one by one. 

"Well damn- that was fast- Why did you even tell me to get out my spear if I wasn't going to need it-?"

"Xiao, this shop might be infested with Husks- So we'll just have to clear them all out before going to look for more food, just for safety mesures, of course." Aether explained

"Right" 

I searched around, Aether did the same, everything was calm until I heard:

"Damn it!" 

I raced over to the blonde only to see the entrance of the store surrounded with Husks. I ran over to the zombie-like figures and began fighting them, earning a few cuts and scratches from the ones with weapons or claws. More were arriving and it wasn't helping. The blondie ended off the last one and helped me with the "gathering" of walking-corpses. The blondie decapitated each one of them, while I stabbed them to death. (I tried to do a fighting scene but ended up failing, I'm so sorry 😭)

We ended up finding nothing else we could eat so we went to the meeting spot. Jean and Beidou weren't there so we just waited for them.. I looked over to Aether beside me and waited for them to arrive..

"Xiao? Why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?" Aether asked,

"Oh- No, there's nothing on your face, I don't even know why I was staring at you for so long."  

"Ah, alright!"

.

"Hey, you two!" Beidou grinned, holding a bag full of food. 

"You guys found that many?!" Aether said, suprised

"Well, we passed near a camp and no one was there so we stole the food and water." Jean said whilst showing us a countainer full of water. 

"What did you two find?" 

"We found some water and a couple of biscuits" Aether said

"Alright! Now, let's head back" 

Time skip (the sun was setting when Beidou and Jean Arrived just saying)

When we arrived, everyone was sleeping so went to sleep as well. 

(Finally done! Anyways, I have decided to make the last part with both Scaramouche and Childe. Hope you enjoyed this chapter!
