"Hey um y/n.." the ghostly boy said "yeah?" I replied, "when will you be going back to school?" "In a few days, why?" "I was wondering if I could tag along y'know?" he said with a smile "uh I don't see why not?" once I said that his eyes started to sparkle?... I honestly had no idea that was possible. I just thought that only happened in books but cool "thank y/n you have no idea how excited I am!"
a few days later in class
"ugh, I forgot how boring this is" the ghostly boy whined, "you are the one that wanted to tag along" I whispered, "whatever" the boy blushed bright blue, I giggle at the child-ish ghost "now shut up I need to pay attention" I whispered and moved my head toward the teacher with a slight smile on my face.
an hour later/after 1st period
I start to walk to my locker with the ghostly boy following me. "Yo! y/n" I heard a voice say coming from behind me. I decided to ignore it and started to walk a little bit faster to avoid talking to alive people. "hey that girl just yelled your name do you know her?" Jackie said thinking I didn't hear her "no" I lied while putting the code in for my locker. "y/n, your, very, fast," she said, panting. I didn't know I was going that fast...well she did have a D in PE "thank you" I said getting my books for 2nd period "no problem, anyways why were you ignoring my texts? I thought we were getting along last year" she said pouting, I cringe at the sight of her pout "I'm sorry heather a lot was going on I guess you just didn't cross my mind at that moment" I said closing/slamming my locker which made Jackie flinch "whoa calm down no need to be all mad" heather said putting her arms up "hmm" I hummed in a sassy tone "well I gotta go don't wanna be late" I said and then starts to speed walk to my next class.
don't worry heather gets character development later in the story
