"Hey babe, ready to move?"
Luke walks into my bedroom.
"Yes," I smile at him.
He leans down to kiss me. We take the baby in her bassinet. We drive to our new home. The movers already at the house, bringing in the furniture. We go into the house and settle in.
We have settled into the house. It's been a long process, but we did it. I have been getting use to having the baby around now. It's a lot of hard work but I have Luke to help me. I also have my mom to help me as well.
"Baby!" I hear Luke call for me.
I go downstairs to the kitchen to see him sat at the table. I see Layla seated across from him in her high-chair. She was squealing and throwing a fit.
"I think she's hungry" Luke laughed.
"Ya think?" I replied.
I grab a bottle of formula and give it to her. She grabs the bottle from me and hits my hand away.
"Damn" Luke laughed.
"Ow!" I giggled.
"She learned from the best," Luke smiles proudly.
I smile at my little girl and laugh.
"Come here baby girl." I take her out of the high-chair and hold her.
Layla starts playing with my hair. She was clearly fascinated by my hair. She's the cutest thing ever!
"Give her to me, Harmony."
I hand her over to Luke. He sits her on his lap. She reaches up to play with his hair.
"What is her thing with hair?" I asked.
"Who knows?" He said.
Luke makes faces at her and she giggles.
"Hello angel," he says to Layla.
"You're so cute with her" I say.
"Thanks babe" he says.
Luke puts Layla back in her high-chair. He walks over to me. He wraps his arms around my waist from behind. He presses his soft lips to my neck. I smile in response to him.
"You're so beautiful," he whispers in my ear.
"I am not."
He groans and kisses my neck. He leaves a mark and hit him lightly on his chest.
"Luke!" I squealed.
"What?" He looks at me innocently.
"Not right now," I give him a stern look.
"Why?" He gives me a cute pout.
"Because the baby is here."
"But the baby's always gonna be here and I love you."
"I know but it just doesn't feel right."
He was now placing kisses all over my face. The baby starts crying loudly. He moves away from me. I go and pick up Layla. I try to make her stop crying.
"Please stop crying." I pat her back softly.
Soon enough, she calms down a little. I go and put her in her bassinet upstairs. I peer down at the beautiful little girl. She has Luke's bright blue eyes and my hair. I get her to fall asleep.
I walk out of the room, closing the door behind me. I go back down to the kitchen.
"Is she alright?" Luke's father characteristics gets the best of him.
"She's asleep now."
"Good" he replied.
"This is only gonna get harder, Luke."
I sit down at the table and put my head down. I was so frustrated at this point.
"Hey, it's gonna be okay" he says.
He comes over and rubs my back.
"I'm sorry, I'm just frustrated. I think I just need to sleep for awhile."
I get up and go upstairs. Luke follows closely after me. We go to our bedroom that we share together. I lay down on the bed.
"You do need some sleep. Tell you what..." He told me.
"I will sleep with you. If the baby needs anything I will get up and get it for her."
"That sounds perfect," I sighed.
Luke gets in bed with me. He pulls me close to him. My back now against his bare chest. He wraps me up in the blankets. I hold onto his arm that's now wrapped around me.
"I love you," I whisper to him before I drift off to sleep.
(Sorry that it was boring guys :/)
