Chapter 1: The Missing Friend

It was a relatively normal night in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Different houses with different families were bustling with life, some more than others. The basement of one of the households in the neighborhood was currently being occupied by a group of close friends.

They were a group of five, four boys and one girl to be more precise. The boys were currently in the middle of their campaign within their Dungeons & Dragons game while the girl sat on the couch reading comic books, her most favorite being X-Men comics.

The girl was very pretty with Caucasian skin, dark brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She wore a white shirt with a denim jacket over it, blue jeans and brown boots. This was the intimidatingly quiet, Laura Kinney.

One of the boys sitting at the table had short wavy black hair that framed his face well, pale skin with small freckles dotting his cheeks and black eyes. He wore a striped shirt with a dark blue sweater jacket over it, sandy brown pants and black shoes. This was defiant Mike Wheeler.

Another one of the boys was shorter than the others with Caucasian skin, a small frame, brown eyes and brown hair in a bowl cut. He wore red and yellow bomber vest and a multicolored flannel under it, blue jeans and white sneakers. This was the nervous yet friendly, Will Byers.

Another one of the boys had Caucasian skin with black eyes, curly brown hair and he actually had a rare bone disorder as well. He wore a baseball cap, a teal hoodie with brown pants and red sneakers. This was the happy go lucky loud mouth of the group, Dustin Henderson.
