“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”

Luna's P.O.V.

The golden morning sun streamed through the curtains and caused my eyes to flutter open. I had fallen asleep in John's arms on the cushy tan couch in the living room.

I stretched one last time, letting the blood in my body circulate, before I got off the couch.

I flipped on the switch on the coffee pot, so I could make a fresh cup of coffee once I got to the kitchen.

Right now I was craving some bacon and some scrambled eggs, so I started getting everything out of the fridge to make them.

"John sure is lucky to have me." I mumbled to myself, still not fully awake, as I put the eggs and bacon onto a clean white plate when they were done cooking.

While the coffee was brewing and bubbling in the coffee maker I went to my bedroom to get dressed.

I rummaged around in my dresser for a little bit before I found a baby blue colored tee-shirt and a pair of jeans on the floor. I slipped out of my old clothes and into my fresh ones, along with a bra and underwear. I then put some perfume on, combed my crazy bed head, and headed back to the kitchen.

The tantalizing smell of fresh coffee invaded my nostrils once I set foot into the kitchen. Coffee probably was'nt the best thing for me, but it has become part of my morning routine to have at least one cup every morning.

I reached up into the cupboard and pulled out two mugs and set them on the table.

"You want some coffee!' I yelled, knowing that John would have to be up by now, with the smell of breakfast floating in the air.

"Ya I'll be right there." I heard him say as he headed to our bedroom to take a shower and get dressed.

The brown liquid steamed as I filled my cup with it. I put some vanilla creamer in it and watched as it swirled in my cup when I started stirring it. Who ever invented coffee, is a genius. I thought as I started sipping away at it.

The metal of the door handle was cold against my hand as I gripped it and stepped out the front door. One of the advantages to living a good distance away from other people, was the fact that we got such an amazing view. I let myself get comfy on the fold out lawn chair as I let out a satisfying sigh.

The sweet melody of the birds chirpping and the warm cup of coffee in my hands, made me all the more comfy.

John's P.O.V.

I slipped into a pair of jeans and a button up plaid shirt.

When I walked out into the kitchen I did'nt see Luna, I knew that she was probably somewhere else though. However right as I thought this, I heard something crash outside and a loud scream.

This had me on high alert as I raced outside.

I saw the broken fragments of a coffee cup, its contents now seeping into the wood of the small deck.

The thing that worried me the most though, was the fear in Luna's eyes.

I looked in the direction of where she was looking and what I saw shocked me.
