I turn around from the road I was dropped off at and see the biggest school I have ever seen standing right infront of me. There was a sign beside me which read 'Rayback High' So that must be the school name.

There were tons of students getting dropped off with expensive looking cars and clothes.

They all looked rich and intimeting. 'Great, how will I find a nice humble friend amongst these arrogant looking people? ' I say as I analyze them.

A strong wind blows on me making me shiver and put on the jacket Zach gave me which looks way to ovezided on me.

As I walk towards the big school entrance I feel my anxiety getting worse and feel like I'm almost about to throw up. 'Stay strong Aria you can do this' I try convincing myself with no luck.

As I walk into the school my eyes widen as I see big open halls with students going around and tons of lockers. I also see a reception in front of me with some students my age standing in line.

"Hello, how may I help you?" I hear the receptionist ask as it's my turn.

"Hello i'm new here and don't really know where to go '' i say not having a clue of what to do.

"Oh well what is your name dear?" The round lady in her late 60's asks. "Of course, it's Ariana Alvarez" I say as I hear her suddenly gasp and eyes widen. The line behind me quiets down as they stare at me in disbelief. 'Why are they looking at me?' I wonder, feeling highly uncomfortable with the sudden attention.

As I said before, I have always been kind of a ghost at my old school but felt more comfortable that way, if the tension doesn't ease, I might actually throw up soon.

"Y-yes i-i u-understand, p-pl-please f-follow me" She stutters with fear in her eyes as i frown in confusion.

"Um excuse me but aren't there others in line, is it ok for you to just leave to escort me?" I ask confused, not wanting the other people in line to get annoyed.

"D-don't worry, th-the important th-thing is that you ma-make it t-to cl-class'' She stutters which leaves me more confused. "Here is your locker number, a map and here is your schedule. Have a wonderful day now" The principal says as the receptionist leaves me at his office and practically runs away after.

"Thank you sir" I say to the tall man with short black hair that looks to be in his early 50's. 'Hmmm let's

see if I can find my locker in this huge school with my bad sense of direction' I think to myself. The map was super easy to read even for me as I made myself to my locker about 10 minute later. As I reach my hand out to my locker I spot a student, a guy student to be exact, reaching for the same locker.

As our hands accidentally touch he looks at my hazel eyes with his own green ones confused.

"Um i-im sorry but i think you got the wrong locker" I say not liking the silence.

"I'm positive this is my locker and frankly, you do look to be a bit confused" He says back.

"I-im not confused, my locker is K0022" I say back, earning a facepalm from him, making me more confused.

"This locker is K0027, are your eyes ok?" He asks not even joking but rather actually being concerned which makes it 100 times more annoying.

"Sorry, I guess I'm just a bit tired today" I admit which he chuckles at.

After going to my actual locker I place my pens and textbooks in it, taking some with me for my first lesson which is math. 'Why did it have to be math?' I ask the universe.

As I make my way towards the classroom I see everyone is staring at me, already seated.

"Hello, you must be miss. Alvarez, I am professor wood" an old man with white hair in his late 70's says. The deep line in the middle of his eyebrows make him constantly look angry which he probably has been a lot in his days.

"This is your first lesson and you are already coming late, If this continues I will have you sit an extra 10 minutes after class" He says angrily. As I look at the clock in the corner of the room, I realize I'm 2 minutes late. I look back at my teacher giving him a 'bruh' look for the dramatic speech which seems to anger him more.

"Sit down right this instant!" he yells as I hear some students giggling. I seat myself at the end of the classroom not wanting to draw any more attention to myself.
