"So its not somewhere fancy?" My never-ending question seem to annoy the fashion queen in front of me.

Rolling his eyes, he gives a audible sigh, "Even if I knew, I am not allowed to tell you."

We were in a designer boutique store in town. There were racks and racks of gorgeous apparels but apparently none were good enough for Rhonda.

"Look at this!" He held up a silver dress with fringe tassels.

"What are we in the 1920." Outraged, he casted the dress aside.

"So it is somewhere fancy." I probed.

"I told you, mi amor. I. Don't. Know."

"But you may have some clue if you are picking out my outfit!" I cried out frustrated.

"Why don't you just let yourself be surprised, Quincy?"

"I hate surprises."

"You must be fun at parties."

Leaving me with my mouth agape, he quickly snapped his fingers to the sale clerk.

"I need a white silk Georgette from this year's collection and a size 26" Guess jeans."

"Right away."

I find myself staring into my reflection as Rhonda hovered around me adjusting my outfit.

He finally stood back with a smile, admiring his creation.

"Not bad but we could do a lot better if I had packed my own line."

"Why didn't you?" I multitasked hopping out of the jeans.

"Dante called so last minute. So irresponsible. If it was anyone else, I would have said no."

As we checked out, a gorgeous black, silk scarf from Salvatore Ferragamo caught my eye. I quickly grabbed it before the clerk finished ringing up our items.

However, my eyes bulged out in surprise as I saw the number on the till. Rhonda quickly smacked my hand away and handed the clerk a black credit card instead.

"Oh no. Its too much."

"I know but I'm not paying. Dante is. Why do you think I was practically bouncing off the walls in excitement when I could finally get this." He picked up a small jewellery box which had the bold words 'Chanel'.

He opened it proudly showing off the glittering, silver ring.

"Wow." I trailed off, speechless.

"Oh, don't worry. I picked up something for you too."

He handed me a gorgeous silver necklace with literal diamonds adorning it.

"I don't think- ." I tried to protest but Rhonda was already halfway out of the store.

He appeared delighted at our extravagant purchases. However, I was more weirded out. No one had ever really bought me anything so expensive before.

I mean I got a half-eaten cookie from my 8th grade crush, Michael Simmons. But nothing compared to a Camélia Necklace worth almost 20k.

I tried not to freak out as I glanced through the receipt for the 10th time. We were already on our way back to the hotel.

"Did you girls have fun?" Dante smiled teasingly.
