"It's three in the morning, Y/N." Leon stumbled in the kitchen while rubbing his eyes.

"I know, Leon. I wanted to bake a cake."

"And listen to music?"

"And listen to music. I'll be fine Leon. Just go back to bed."

"Well now I can't go back to bed." Leon voiced.

The music continued.

"Well the cake just went in, so if you want to stay up we can." You winked at him.

"I bet that cake is gonna taste so good."

He came over to me and captured me in a hug.

We stared at each other for what felt like minutes.

"Wanna dance?" He spoke up.

"Yes, Leon."

Leon gave me his hand. He twirled me every so often. I was held close by his arm wrapped around my waist.

I loved his warmth.

"I love this." Leon stated as the both of us were slow dancing.

I smiled into his chest. "I have missed this so much."

"There's nothing to miss now Y/N. I'm right here."

Leon continued to spin you out and back into his chest.

He tangled his fingers in my hair. His grip on me got tighter and he nuzzled his head in my neck.

We continued to rock back and forth.

"Did you miss me that much?" You chuckled a bit.

He nodded his head the best he could.

Leon got back from a mission two days ago. It has been his longest mission yet. He's been purely exhausted and hasn't lifted a finger. He was home though so I didn't really mind.

"I love you more than anything, Y/N." He was muffled by my neck.

"I love you too you big baby." I rubbed Leon's arm.

He picked you up to wrap your legs around him.

"I missed your face, I missed your scent, your warmth, everything about you, Y/N."

"Even my baking at three A.M.?"

"Especially your baking at three A.M."

We giggled for a minute.

"I can't wait to eat the cake with you, Leon." I asserted while rubbing his soft face.

He was weak when it came to you. He melted in your touch everytime.

"I'm gonna smash that cake right in your face when I can."

You jokingly gasped. "You would never."

"I so would." He snatched you and started twirling your body around the living room.

I twirled forever and Leon dipped me-- until a timer went off.

"Looks like you're gonna smash that cake in my face sooner that we thought."

He crashed his lips into mine.

"Good."
