Unexpected

Part 1

His curly brunette hair bounced up and down as he sprinted over to his girlfriend, grinning wildly. Hugging her tightly before saying anything.

"Are you excited for winter break?" She excitedly asked, the duo had lots of plans for the next week, and nothing was going to ruin them.

"Yes, how can I not be!?" Nini let out a soft chuckle as stared softly at the older, she could hear heavy footsteps from behind her.

"Hey guys!" Big red enthusiastically said, happily staring at the couple while his arm was slumped around Ashlyn's shoulder.

"So you ready for that triple date tomorrow?" The ginger girl asked innocently, looking in between everyone.

The four of them had planned to go to a Mexican restaurant plus seb and Carlos, nini hummed and starting blabbering about what to wear.

Ricky zoned out his gaze shifting towards the tall brooding senior who plodded along the sidewalk, something was different about his demeanor but the younger shook it off.

Ej had caught the juniors stare, the bright blue eyes returned the glare, flipping him off, and smiling sarcastically.

"So babe what do you think?" Rickys head jerked back to the cute dark haired girl in front of him, he smiled awkwardly. "Ricky what do you think of my outfit idea for tomorrow night?"

"I think it's great." He said leaning down a little giving her a peck on the lips. He glanced back up to see Ej no longer in sight, mentally thanking the universe.

The sun shined down on the group of four just perfectly, a yellow glow reflected onto nini and Ricky admiringly stared. A new rush of joy for the next two weeks went through him, he smiled gratefully.

He wandered along the grey pavement road, it was pitch black outside and the only form of light that Ricky had was the stars and the moon.

He enjoyed the cool breeze hitting his skin, and how it was dead silent. Although he loved his girlfriend and friends, he loved being alone more.

Then all sudden it felt as if the world stopped.

A body was in the middle of the road in the distance, just laying there. He quickly got out his phone to call 911, but there was no service.

Then he saw their chest rise.

He sprinted over to the body, ignoring all fears in him. It could be a vampire he thought, it was a stupid thought but he was forced to watch the beginning of vampire diaries with nini yesterday.

The boy on the pavement was littered in bruises, tears were begging to come out. But the electrical blue orbs locked with the chocolate brown ones, fear suddenly flashed across the olders eyes.

"B-bowen?" He stammered out, the junior furrowed his eyes brows eyeing the brunette up and down.

Then it clicked.

"Holy shit, Caswell?!" He asked breathlessly and wide eyed, shocked a guy like him looked like this.

"C-Can you call Ash?" The younger boy cringed inwardly at the raspy voice, he sounded like a broken record.

"I have no service I'm sorry." Ricky gently told him, panicking on the inside.

"I just need to get to my car, then I can get going. My car is around the turn right there, my keys are in my pocket. Please go get it." The seventeen year old frantically reached for the olders pocket, and sprinted for the car.

Why am I helping him? He asked himself, EJ has done nothing but torment him.

Ej laid on the pavement, patiently waiting for  his nemesis to comeback with his car. He squeezed his eyes shut, a heavy wave of tiredness hit him. He opened his eyes, trying to stay awake.

"Ej hold on, stay awake." The familiar muffled voice said, shaking him slightly. "I have your car."

"T-thank you." EJ mumbled, "You can go now."  Ricky sat there for a minute before letting out a low groan, pressing his lips together as he stared down at the beaten boy.

"Oh fuck this. I'm driving." The icy blue eyes widened, "Your going to accenditally kill your self if you drive, I might hate you but I don't actually want you to be dead."

"Okay, this is going to hurt but your going have to get up." Ricky carefully put his arm around Ej's back, as Ej tried to use his legs to get up.

After ten minutes of struggling and stopping every like inch, the pair finally had gotten in the car.

"Aright so how do we get out of-" He paused when he turned to see the senior peacefully passed out in the passenger seat, "Great looks like we're sleeping here."

Ricky didn't actually know where he was going when he walked out of Big reds house earlier today, he just mindlessly waltzed around town.

He glanced back at ej, and lightly smiled.

"I like you better when your sleeping."
