I wake up out of my sleep thirsty, I try to move my arm to grab a cup but Lucias arm is wrapped tightly around me so I can't move. I pry her arms from around me and grab some water. I'm walking back to our bedroom but check on Brianna first.
She's sleeping in her small Minnie Mouse bed that matches the Daisy Duck one Alexia has on the other side of the room. Since we've moved out here the two of them have been inseparable. Lucia and I had a long talk and we decided that it would be best for us to move to Italy for at least the next few months. I quietly close their door before going back into Lucia and I's bedroom.
"Bellissima what are you doing?" Lucia asks with her groggy voice and reaching around the bed for me. "Sorry baby I was just getting some water." She nods her head then goes back to sleep. I climb in with her and go to sleep. ____________
4 hours later I wake up to Lucia getting dressed in front of the mirror across the room. "Gooodmorning love I have a meeting today so I won't be able to see you until tonight." I nod my head then climb out of the bed and take off my bonnet. I walk over to Lucia and give her a quick kiss.
There's a little knock at the door and Lucia tells them to come in. Alexia and Brianna come in holding hands. Their so adorable they even have matching pjs on. "Auntie Sage can you take me and Brianna swimming today?" Alexia asks me. Since I've been around them all the little kids have grown accustomed to calling me Auntie Sage except for Brianna who's grown started to calling me mommy. I talked to Lucia about my concern with it but she thinks that since I'm her legal guardian and plan to stay in her life indefinitely I should just let her call me mom.
"Okay sweetie but first I have to talk to your mom about it." They immediately go running down the hall screaming for Jennifer. Lucia wraps her arms around me and leans down into my neck leaving small kisses. "I love that your okay with being here." I turn around so that I'm facing her.
"There's not a place in the world I would rather be." She gives me a kiss before leaving for work. I get in the shower relishing in the heat for a while before getting out. I get dressed into a white sundress and some white heels. I'm walking down to the kitchen when I run into one of Lucias baby brothers.
"Hi auntie sage can we go swimming when you take Brianna and Alexia." I smile down at him and tell him of course before he runs down the hall I'm guessing to tell his brother. I go into the kitchen and see Camille the nanny making the kids some food.
I greet her then ask if she'll need any help. Since we've been here Camille and I have gotten to be friends somewhat. We don't talk to much unless it's about the kids. She's helping me potty train Brianna right now she only wears diapers at night but she still has a little accident every now and again during the day.
"No I'm good I'm almost done ma'am." I asked her to call me Sage but she sticks with ma'am or Mrs. Ricci even though me and Lucia are not married or even engaged. Stacy comes in holding one of her sons he has tears running down his eyes and his thumb in his mouth.
"It's okay baby come on eat some breakfast." She tells him before setting him down at the table next to the other 3 kids. "Hey Stacy do you mind if I take the kids out to the Little pool later?" I ask even though I know she won't mind.
"No not at all actually I'll go with you guys." She replies seeming a little distracted. We all eat in peace then I go upstairs to Brianna's bedroom and grab her bathing suit. I'm getting her some clothes ready when Jennifer comes in. "Hey Sage do you mind watching Alexia today? I know the nanny's here I just want to make sure it's okay with you."
"Sure I was gonna take the kids out swimming for the day anyways." She nods then leaves the room. So I grab Alexia a bathing suit and some clothes to put on later. I go back into my room and text Imani for a little while.
Me: Heyyy Bestie Imani: Hey girlll hows your vacation? Me: Pretty good. Brianna's walking and shes almost potty trained Imani: God your so lucky David keeps taking off his pullups and pissing on my couch Me: Ew maybe its a baby boy thing Imani: No hes just a little asshole and loves to stress his moms out Me: If i didnt know Alynna was also taking care you both I would think hes gonna drive you crazy Imani: gtg girl he just colored on the fucking wall
I laugh at her I know she loves being a mom but when she met Alynna who already had a son she was a bit nervous. She says she hates all kids except her own. Which I totally understand even though I love kids. _____________ 2 hours later
Me and Stacy are sitting next to the kiddy pool while all the kids splash around. "Hey you wanna go to a spa with me tomorrow?" She asks after a while of just listening to the kids yell.
"Sure that'll help me get ready for me and Lucias date." She nods then we start talking about how good a massage would feel right now. "So when do you think Lucia will ask the big question?"
"Uh I don't think any time soon we have a lot going on right now plus we're in a good place right and I don't think she's ready yet." She nods then we talk about the most extravegant wedding proposals we've seen. ___________
