After having breakfast and going home Ryan took a quick shower before walking back into his room to get dressed. He walked downstairs after getting dressed. His mom was already dressed and waiting for him.

They walked to the car which was in the garage and Ryan walked to the front door as Heather shook her head. "Backseat mister," Heather said smiling a bit. Ryan just huffed and walked to the backseat. Taking his seat Ryan put his seat belt on before Heather started the car.

It was finally time for the truth and Heather was nervous very nervous. She was known as a strong and fearless woman. Stunning beauty high intelligence courage that no one can match above all she a shrewd lady at the court. If anyone that knows her in the line of work, they would never believe that Heather may get nervous. In fact, they would laugh at it.

Yet, there she is. Not just nervous but scared, scared for her baby. She remembers when the doctors said that Ryan wouldn't live more than two weeks. He was so weak when he was born. Heather never give up, she couldn't lose her baby, whatever happens, she won't lose him now.

Looking up in the mirror, Heather couldn't help but smile at the little angel in the back seat. As brave, fearless, and smart Ryan is he was as innocent and as pure as an angel. He was the cutest child she had ever seen in her life, and she loved him from all her heart.

Arriving in front of the clinic, Heather parked the car and got out followed by Ryan. Ryan is used to coming here a lot after all his aunt was more than happy to do the regular check instead of another doctor. She would rather check on her cute nephew than having a stranger doctor look him up.

When Ryan was born Lynn was one of the few doctors who encouraged Heather and Jeff not to give up. She was right, after all, seeing her cute little nephew in front of her eyes proved just that. She loved the fact that she was right, after all, Lynn was sure that her sister won't make it without her baby.

Entering the eight-store building Heather and Ryan took the elevator to the fifth floor where Lynn's clinic. Walking out of the clinic, Ryan held into his mom tightly. "Mommy, scared," Ryan said shaking a bit.

It had been four years since Heather had seen this. It was an old habit of Ryan when getting scared, he will hold tightly to her and will stay close as much as he can. While Heather finds it cute it tore her heart apart, knowing that her child is fearless and it's not easy to scare him. She knows how hard is all this on him.

"It's alright baby, don't be scared," Heather said leaning down to kiss his head. "No matter what I will there for you," Heather comforted Ryan as they walked towards the clinic.

Heather pushed the door of the clinic open and they were greeted by a college girl. Her name is Ava and she works a part-time job in the clinic she's also doctor Lynn's only trainee. "Mrs. Houston, it's been a while," the girls immediately left her desk to greet them.

"Good morning Ava, my sister is not overworking you I assume," Heather joked raising an eyebrow to add to make it look a bit real.

Ava laughed a bit; she knows Heather's friendly attitude which confirms that she's doctor Lynn's sister. "No, not at all ma'am in fact I am learning things here more than any other trainee I know off," Ava said as her eyes down on Ryan. Something was different about him, he was always lively outgoing, very talkative, and had a great sense of humor that she guessed he took from Heather.

Today he was different he was holding onto Heather tightly which is very unusual of him. "Hi, Ryan, what's wrong?" She liked Ryan, even if he is ten years younger than it felt as if he's only two or three years younger than her. He was way too smart for a kid his age and had a lot of knowledge about many things including the law which was not surprising.
