Chapter 12

You laugh at his statement and continue eating. Suna then takes a glance at his phone to check the time.

"We've got 7 minutes left, we should start heading over".

Nodding in agreement you two begin to walk through the semi-crowded halls of the school.

*RING*

"Welcome class, as you all know I wasn't present yesterday and I know you all missed me dearly", your teacher said with a smile.

The classroom was filled with absolute silence. The only sound that could be heard was your pencil dropping to the floor. You received a few glances from the class and an irritated glare from the teacher.

"My bad", you say, picking up the pencil from the floor.

Suna was trying his best not to laugh, but I'm the end he let out a quiet chuckle.

"Anyways", the older lady says as she clears her throat. "I don't really have anything planned for you guys today so you can work on the assignment from yesterday. If you're done, great, just keep your noise level to a minimum", she says with a scoff at the end, and takes a seat in her chair.

"Thank the lord we don't have to do anything", you say as you relax in your chair.

"Right, thanks for the answers from yesterday by the way".

You look at Suna before quickly turning to the other side to shield your face and contain a bubbling laughter. You start shaking a little bit because you didn't want to have the whole class listen and stare at you for laughing .

"Why are you laughing? Oh wait-", he says while letting out a quiet laugh.

"I-I'm sorry b-but the water spill from yesterday just popped into my head again".

"How about we don't bring that up", he says while smiling. "Actually it was really funny so I'll let it slide".

The rest of the time leading up to lunch was spent having various conversations. You brought up the fact that you created the playlist and that you already added a couple songs to start. Suna took out his phone and began adding a few songs that he favored. He also took this chance to name the playlist 'Sweet Tunes'.

"While we're hanging out later we can listen to the playlist while walking", he offers.

"Sure, I didn't bring my earbuds today though so you think we could use yours?"

"Yeah I'm pretty sure I brought them", he says rummaging through his bag.

One thing you've noticed throughout the past week was that you weren't relying on music as much. Before, you would never leave the house without your earbuds because it was one of the only things that brought you peace and filled a void within you. But since you've been with Suna, there's really no use in using them as much. You enjoy having conversations with him and analyzing your surroundings.

*RING*

Grabbing your belongings you walk past the students and make your way outside with Suna.

Time: 9:37

"Okay guys", you say, clapping your hands, grabbing the attention of the three boys sitting around you. "My mom made onigiri last night again and she wanted me to give you guys some".

They all gasp as you begin to take out three plastic bags with onigiri inside. You hand them out as they thank you.

"(Y/N) I swear your moms the best", Osamu says while
indulging in the rice snack.
