You and jungkook had been engaged for a couple weeks, he'd never asked you about a dog, which was good, considering that you're legit getting franki today. t'was his 20th birthday, you wanted to have a celebrative and party kind of birthday party, unlike your 18th birthday, which you'd just spent toegther.... 'celebrating', if you know what i mean... both yours and his parents would be coming just before lunch because they were bringing pizza and party food. you were having over all of your friends and family, including your neighbours.  you'd planned to have your parents show up last so that it would be the least amount of time to hide franki. once everyone had shown up, you started eating the food. you talked about what jungkook was like when he was young and old memories from you and jungkook. he got on the topic of wanting a dog ever since he was young. you got anxius but it was easy to hide it because you were used it anxiousness. he asked for your thoughts and you said that maybe after you both finished college for the year, then you could start looking. he said "that's nearly a year away though!" in a funny and a tiny bit of an annoyed tone. you apologized and said that you still needed to wait a bit and that a dog was a big responsibility. he then asked you to go to the bedroom with him so that you both wouldn't cause a scene.

"Why are you acting like i'm a child Y/N?!"

"I'm sorry, i really do want to get a dog! i just want to wait a while." you said in a calm tone while he was nearly ripping his hair out from frustration

"Kookie! calm down! it's ok... we will get a dog! i promise! just wait a little while!"

"That's the thing though! you're acting like a year is nothing! yur asking me to wait over 300 days for something that most people with pets have!"

"Then how come you waited 6 years to ask me to marry you? you didn't seem nearly this eager to marry me, but a dog, your having a stroke over!!!"

"IT'S A STUPID RING Y/N!!!"

you both sat there in shock, knowing that you were both making this way too over the top and difficult.

"baby, i'm sorry." he said actually looking sorry. it was different for you because you knew that this fight would only last a little while and you surprise him with franki. but after he said that, you were confused but enraged. you got up and went to your bathroom, you locked the door and carefully got franki. you walked out of the bathroom, jungkook was leaning on the door frame feeling sorry and looked franki right in the eyes as you walked passed him. you put franki down and took your ring.

"there's your all important dog. oh, by the way, since you think the ring i so useless, i think i'll leave it off."

jungkook hadn't even looked at franki and came right to you. he knew that the apology that was the most meaningful to you were wordless ones, where you do meaningful actions to show your sorrow. he came to you, wrapped you in his arms and kissed you deeply and passionately. you responded, knowing exactly what he was doing and accepted. you knew that he just said that in the moment because it was heated and uncontrolled. you accidentally turned this meaningful kiss into a heated make out. he was covering over you while his hands were up the back of your shirt. you were holding his face, you both realized that you had a ton of people waiting for you. you got up and without saying anything, you walked out with franki in jungkooks arms.
