"Yibo what happened you're not visiting me.....What the hell?"
Zhan was left in the hallway shocked. It was obvious that Yibo saw him. But when they happened to walk past each other, Yibo ignored him.
He was blinking while looking at Yibo's back. His eyes were glued on the other. His eyebrow raised as he saw him walking at a fast pace. It was like he was scared that Zhan might follow him and bombarded him with questions.
It was Yubin who saw him being glued like a statue in the middle of the hallway. So Yubin approached him.
"Zhan? What's wrong?"-Yubin asked worriedly.
Zhan smiled brightly at his friend, saying that he was fine. Yubin was a Beta. So he was never been aggressive like an alpha, neither soft as an omega. He was neutral and Yubin was such a sweetheart. Zhan and him became close when they were still studying here, at Gusu's University. After that, they both became professors at the same university. They became even closer to him and inseparable. Zhan sees Yubin as his brother whom he wanted to protect.
"Did Yibo bullied you again?"-Yubin asked again. Zhan looks so bothered and confused. So he concluded, that Yibo might be the reason, for Zhan to react this way.
"No. Instead he ignored me. He saw me yet he still decided to ignore me"-Zhan mindlessly answered, still looking in the direction where Yibo went.
It was great news for Yubin. Since Zhan wouldn't be in distress anymore, because of Yibo.
"That's great! It's good news Zhan!"-he beams.
But Zhan's reaction? He looks sad rather than happy. He even saw Zhan bit his lips like he was suppressing his self to cry.
Yubin mood dropped, from being delighted to being sad. He was affected by Zhan's mood. Suddenly he heard Zhan's laugh.
"Why am I being emotional? Hahahahaha. Maybe I'm happy? relieved? Since Yibo decided to ignore me or rather keep his distance away from me"-Zhan reasoned. Still, his eyes looked glossy. Like he was on a verge of crying.
Yubin remained quiet for a while. Yet, he smiled brightly at Zhan and decided to change their subject.
"That's good. By the way, have you heard about the new professor? She will be here, two days after"- Yubin exclaimed, and cannot hide his excitement.
It was seems affected. Zhan's eyes glimmered. Now, not because of him, feeling blue, but because of excitement.
"Yeah, and she was my senior in middle school. Her name was Jiang Yanli right?"- Zhan's asked.
Yubin smirked and nodded his head. "She was a beta, but now? She became an omega. I don't know what happens but it happened anyway"- he said, chuckling.
Zhan seems to forget the matter about Yibo. Instead, divert his attention to his conversation with Yubin.
They walked past through Yibo who was struggling in covering his nose. He looked sick. Not because he was sick. But because of Zhan.
