A/N: Once again, I do not condone underage drinking in real life (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
As you blinked against the light that filtered through the window you immediately noticed one thing.
You remembered everything.
From the way you and Tendou had come to your house, bantering as usual, to him pestering you and you coming to a decision that being drunk was the perfect opportunity to finally act upon the feelings you had been trying to ignore for so long.
You remembered his mouth on yours, could still almost taste the chocolate mousse he had eaten just before. The feeling of his hands gripping your waist and then traveling up until he had you tightly wrapped in his embrace.
How he had gently tugged you along with him until he was sitting on the couch again, only this time you were sitting in his lap. You remembered coming up for air, leaning your forehead against his shoulder, and hoping, wishing, that he would still remember in the morning.
Now that morning had come, you were reluctant to find out but knew it was only a matter of time.
When you heard rustling in the bed next to yours, you quickly shut your eyes. Whatever the outcome, you weren't quite ready to face reality just yet.
Tendou's voice squashed most of your hope, however.
"How the hell did I wind up here?"
You held your breath as you waited to see if he would say more.
He didn't though and instead, he got up from the guest bed and left the room.
"Ugh!" You complained as you threw the blankets off of you and sat up. "Doesn't sound too good for me..."
You gave him a few minutes before getting out of bed yourself, still wearing the same clothes as yesterday apparently, and heading over to the bathroom.
You knocked on the door first before calling out: "Are you in there?"
It didn't take long for the door to open up halfway and Tendou poked his head out. His hair was messy, as it had been the last time he slept over, but what surprised you most was that he had taken off his shirt.
"I was going to take a shower, but if you want it, the bathroom's all yours." He said casually.
You took a split second to take in the sight of the near-flawless skin of his torso before shaking your head. "I'll just go to the toilet first and use the bathroom later."
"If that's what you want." He said but didn't close the door until you turned around to leave. That gave you ample time to let your eyes wander over his bare chest once more before marching away.
You washed your face in the little basin before doing your business and heading back to your room to change into a clean set of clothes.
As you rummaged through your closet you couldn't help but sigh more than once as you tried to come to terms with the fact that Tendou didn't seem to remember a thing.
If he did, he wouldn't be able to act so unaffectedly, right? In fact, you had quite a bit of trouble keeping a straight face around him yourself.
About fifteen minutes later there was a knock at your door and Tendou announced that the bathroom was free for you to use. He had changed his clothes as well and you were happy to see him wearing the hoodie you had given him as a present for his birthday. You couldn't help but think to yourself that you had bought just the right one.
You went to take a shower and tried to let all of the uncertainty and disappointment wash away. Trying to figure out what to do next wasn't easy, but whatever happened in the coming days, at least you had made a wonderful memory. Even if it was yours alone.
