Okay so, I don't think they can work out as a couple. Despite Cranky and Big Mickey working together since the older seasons they didn't have so much interaction with each other until S21. However, that's not the main issue. It's just that I don't see so much dynamic and chemistry between those two. I think they'd be more like mutual friends rather than a couple.

Do I ship them? Nope, but I respect who does.
