Prologue:
How about we start from the beginning...
My name is Kayla Cormican.
I was born to a pretty great family. A mom, a dad, my older brother by three years, Greyson, and my twin sister Rebecca.
I grew up in the middle of nowhere, a small town in the midst of the woods. I never really questioned it until I was seven, when my parents told me I was a werewolf, I know, I know, that's really young, but my parents wanted to raise me aware and wanted me to grow to be a strong independent wolf. I always thought something was up, but I never expected that... By the time I was about 15, my wolf began to subconsciously talk to me. Weird, right? Not for werewolves. But then, at the age of 16, I could form into my wolf. I was a beautiful, smokey black wolf.
At myself and Rebecca's 18th birthday party, I found my mate. And who else would they be other than than the next Alpha, and thought to be the hottest wolf in our pack. And as the cherry on top, my best friend Ashton, was my sisters mate. Great...
